We can't say enough about our experience at Carlouel Yacht Club! The club has a classic, coastal vibe with breathtaking views of Clearwater Beach and the intracoastal. We held our ceremony on the club's gorgeous private beach, and our reception in the main ballroom. Not only is the main ballroom beautiful on its own, but we were lucky enough to have it decorated for Christmas on our wedding day. The decorations added such a nice touch to our reception! Mandy and Kelley were amazing to work with throughout the entire planning process and on the day of. They are both experienced with event coordination and made us feel so at ease! They were very responsive along the way and made our many months of planning stress free. Mandy went above and beyond with coordinating our vendors and even set up all of our ceremony and reception decor. We didn't have to worry about a thing! In addition to a wonderful management team, Carlouel has awesome service staff! They were friendly and attentive to our guests the entire night. Another thing to note was how great the food was at Carlouel. We did a buffet dinner, as well as a dessert bar, and everything turned out perfect. Our guests were raving about the food all night! We were even able to offer our guests local craft beers and the club's homemade sangria at the bar, which everyone also loved. Overall, we couldn't be any happier with how our wedding day turned out. We would recommend Carlouel over and over again to couples looking for a special place by the beach to host their wedding!

The Carlouel was a beautiful setting for our daughter's wedding! Kelley Williams, the wedding coordinator, was so helpful and accommodating. She set up all of our table centerpieces and wedding decor. It was such a relief to know that she was expertly handling everything and keeping everyone calm and relaxed! Kelley is top notch! The food was excellent and presented well. We got a lot of comments about how wonderful everything tasted and what a gorgeous setting the Carlouel was. Pictures around the venue were stunning.

The Carlouel was the PERFECT wedding & reception site for our small, intimate wedding. We had a gulf beach wedding at the Carlouel's private beach, which was stunning, and then the reception of our dreams at the Yacht Club - with dancing, delicious food, fire pit & s'mores and the boat getaway. Kelly at the Carlouel was wonderful to work with and recommended the best wedding planner we could have imagined - Jessica at Parties A La Carte (who REALLY knows this venue, if you choose Carlouel I would highly recommend using Jessica). A few very specific things that made the Carlouel TRULY exceptional:
1. Kelly's team accommodated a BEACH wedding with THREE wheelchairs. We thought it was a pipe dream, and the team at Carlouel made it a reality. In fact, the facility is VERY accessible for all kinds of mobility concerns, which allowed us to include our loved ones in a very special way.
2. The beach is near private and can only be accessed by foot, so it was a beach wedding without the onlookers. We had a few yacht club members who came out to the beach, and they were EXTREMELY respectful and did not get in the way of pictures or linger near the ceremony.
3. Food allergies - a few of our guests have food allergies and catering was WONDERFUL in accommodating them, even at the very last minute when I had forgotten to communicate something about one of our guests.
4. Our friends' kids had a wonderful time, too, which was very important to us. They even got to see dolphins in the channel behind the yacht club and make s'mores! How special for the little ones :)

Carlouel Yacht Club was the perfect wedding venue and I cannot say enough wonderful things! Kelley Williams is organized, easy to reach, and has an amazing vision of how to set up the reception space, cocktail hour, and ceremony space. My husband and I grew up in the Bay Area but traveled from Colorado for our wedding and Kelley and her staff at Carlouel made long distance planning an absolute dream! Our guests are still raving about the gorgeous views, beautiful reception space, and delicious food! I wish we could get married again so that we could have our wedding at Carlouel Yacht Club all over!

The Carlouel was an AMAZING wedding venue. Specifically, Kelly is FANTASTIC. You basically get a wedding planner free with the venue! We were coming from out of town and she made our wedding planning a breeze. The venue is beautiful and our wedding was better than we could have imagined!

OH MY GOSH I can't say enough about how absolutely perfect the Carlouel was for our wedding! Kelly Williams was amazing to work with (and I KNOW my wedding planner Kimberly Hensley agrees with me on this one)! I had a REALLY hard time picking a venue when I first started looking, but when I walked down the boardwalk and looked out over the private beach for the first time I choked up and just KNEW this was where we were supposed to get married. The beachside ceremony was absolutely breathtaking, the cocktail hour outside in the "birdcage" was a huge hit (from what I'm told) but the reception...WOW WOW WOW!!! We got a TON of compliments on our day after the fact but what we heard most was how amazing the venue and food both were!! And I couldn't agree more! The reception area has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the intercostal and just outside the area are fire pits that were a great gathering spot during band breaks! Truly every detail was like a fairytale!! If you're looking for a beautiful space that let's guests enjoy every detail of Florida without being stuck in a stuffy ballroom with no windows this is most definitely your place!

AMAZING!! I don't think you could find a better view, a private beach, a classy but beachy feel than Carlouel Yacht Club. It wasn't just the venue itself though it was the staff, especially Kelley Williams. Even though we didn't technically have a wedding coordinator, she definitely played the role! She was ALWAYS on top of everything. I was trying to plan the wedding remotely while in medical school, so I would start to get stressed out about the details. Kelley always calmed down because she always was 10 steps ahead of me. The day of when so smoothly! They even specifically catered to my vegan needs for dinner!

This venue is STUNNING. Kelley, the main coordinator, works events like nobody's business and really knows her stuff. I emailed her a million questions as well, and she would number them and answer back. Props to her! She was there my whole wedding day as the "day of" coordinator (included in the price), and made every little detail I wanted happen. She knows the vendors I used (Chocolate Pi for Cake, DeLeon Entertainment for music, 2Birds Events for floral/candelabras, and was able to communicate with them without going through me.
What a beautiful day...there were yachts parked out by the main hall and lit up the backdrop where the band played. The pools were lit as well as the birdcage (open area outside for cocktail hour), and the whole place was magical. I couldn't recommend this place more. We had our rehearsal dinner here with a calypso band, spend the wedding day in the girls room for hair and makeup (the best view to get ready!), and of course the main event which was down on the beach for the ceremony then moved up to the club for the reception. The one criticism I would give is there is no place for the guys to get ready, but after talking to my husband they didn't care to much for this anyway and ended up getting most of their photos outside.

The Carlouel Yacht Club literally made my wedding perfect! The coordinator, Kelley, was amazing and accommodating in every way! The day of serving staff was courteous and efficient. My wedding was really made special by the beautiful views and environment at Carlouel!
