We first tasted Heather's cake at our friends' wedding about a year before ours. We don't eat a lot of sweets at home, but each of us had at least 3 of her cupcakes (and we brought about 8 home with us)! They were that good. We knew then that she was going to be our cake person.
As Cake Noir is a relatively small, we found Heather to be very professional and easy to work with. Heather was very flexible and open to what we want to see on our wedding cake. We chose to have both cupcakes for the guests and cutting cake for us. We took it a step further, and asked that she make the cake to the Simpsons theme (my favorite TV show). So, our chocolate cupcakes had a fondant donuts on top of each one. Our lemon chiffon cupcakes have Marge's hairdo frosting. And our cutting cake was topped with the two of us - SIMPSONIZED - sitting on a couch. It was a huge hit with our family and friends!
