My family has loved this bakery for a long time, and choosing them for our cake was a perfect choice. In fact, the cake was so good that there wasn't any left over at the end of the night! The cake was just as good as it always is in the store, and it was exactly what we wanted. We only wanted a plain buttercream over the cake with no decoration (our topper came with some matching decorations that we put on a layer of the cake ourselves) so I admit I don't have any feedback on the decorative appearance of the cake, but I was extremely satisfied with my service and the taste.

Instead of getting a tiered wedding cake, we decided to get a bunch of regular sized cakes from Cafe Selmarie because we love going there for brunch and the cakes are so delicious and beautiful. It was really easy to order, they gave us a list of all the different cakes and tarts and we just sent them a list of the ones we wanted. Overall we got A LOT of cake for much less than a traditional wedding cake, plus all of our guests gushed about the cakes, many tried multiple different kinds! The cakes were delivered on time and looked absolutely gorgeous, tasted great and it was easy to get everything squared away. And now I can go get a slice of wedding cake whenever I want! We also special ordered some wedding-cake shaped sugar cookies which they matched to the color scheme of our decor - they were delicious and adorable!

Cafe Selmarie and their head baker, Birdgit, were probably our favorite vendor by a long shot. We've been patrons of the cafe and restaurant for years, and were so very excited about the prospect of having their delicious cakes at our wedding. My joy was doubled when I found out that they were significantly more reasonable than most wedding cake bakeries (they don't upcharge you just because it's a wedding cake), and their delivery fee was next to nothing, even though the bakery is farther north than many others. We chose a simple design and house cake flavors (which were just incredible) but Birdgit can create just about whatever you want. Fabulous!
