I had beautiful flowers, thanks to Lois and the staff at Bud's Flowers. They put together some lovely bouquets for my bridesmaids ($35 each, for five roses and 4 carnations) and even threw in the flower girl's petals for free. The groomsmen's boutonnieres were lovely Black Magic roses--these, however, didn't hold up well in the unexpected heat of our wedding day (they were removed at the beginning of the reception, after the photos.) We didn't use flowers for centerpieces. I had a cascading bouquet of mixed roses--Black magic, pink and white--with stephanotis throughout. It was very pretty, and also quite expensive: $175. Looking back on it, that was a lot to pay for what I got, though it was a quality piece. My only complaint was that a few of the roses kept falling out and had to be manually replaced.
Lois was always available throughout our engagement for adjustments and consultations. I really liked what she suggested for the mothers and grandmothers corsages, so we ran with that.
