Where do I even start with this review- this man is a wonderful photographer and human being! we had a reshoot in Savannah after our wedding day photos with another photographer so bad we couldn't use most of them. Bud was a DREAM to work with. He went above and beyond to not only help us recreate our wedding day, but also got so many shots we never got. He was creative, relaxed, so much fun to work with and the photos were just phenomenal. He worked so hard that day because we ran around all over Savannah and I am eternally grateful for him and what he did for us on the re-shoot. Hire him - you will NOT regret it!

One of the best decisions we made was hiring Bud and Sarah for our wedding photography! Both Bud and Sarah were incredible to work with throughout the whole process - from the initial proposal to the final edits :) On the day of the wedding, Bud brought energy, positivity, and happiness as well as a sense of calm (which we all appreciated so much!!). He captured our special moments with so much creativity and was truly a part of making the day so fun and exciting!!

Truly can't say enough about Bud! We absolutely loved having him as our wedding photographer. From communication, reasonable pricing, willingness to work with our requests, and patient personality, Bud hit all of the buckets we were looking for.

Prior to booking, we met virtually with over 10 top Savannah photographers to describe our needs/wants (minimal, we were only looking for ~4 hours of photography - closer to an elopement package. We used The Knot/Wedding Wire/online reviews to find vendors). We are a "destination" couple and it was difficult to not be able to meet with vendors in-person; we were iffy from our conversations up until we met Bud. Overall, we definitely meshed with Bud the most and he was more than willing to accommodate our interests. On the day of, Bud blew us away. He has a wonderful personality (is definitely willing to laugh with us!) and always made us feel comfortable throughout the day. Our family and friends were so impressed with Bud that they wanted pictures with HIM! We received our photos in a timely manner that was designated in the contract and they're more than I could have hoped for. 10/10 recommend Bud to anyone in the area. Big shoutout to his wife, Sarah, as well who manages all communication prior to the date. She made the process seamless! Dream team.

There are truly no words for how great it was to work with Bud on the day of. He has the most calming demeanor and kept me on a timeline without being pushy. That is worth everything to a stressed bride!!! He also let us see sneak perks of photos during the reception which meant so much to us. Sarah was so wonderful to communicate with. She was fast to respond and helped Bud prepare for our big day! Can’t thank them enough for what a great job they did and I will tell all my brides to choose them! All my family and friends mentioned how great of a vendor Bud was, which is big to say since my father photographed weddings for 40 years! Bud far exceeds every expectation you have!

Working with Bud Johnson and his wife Sarah was the best decision I made when it came to wedding vendors. The wedding day realllyyy does fly by and although we had a complete wedding weekend of events, the wedding day was still a blur! I am sooooo happy I had bud there to capture every single moment in the day. Although he was just one man, I was amazed at how many angles and views and photos he took. He was truly a pleasure to have by our side on on one of the most important days of our lives and his artistic expression and passion and care he has truly shined in our photos. My husband and I absolutely loved working with Bud! Bud and his wife, Sarah, were very responsive during the planning process. When I reached out to them, I knew I was going to get a quick and helpful response. I felt the same way on our wedding day. Bud was there for everything and very attentive to our needs that day. My husband isn’t particularly fond of taking pictures for extended periods of time, but he and his groomsmen had a blast taking their pictures with Bud. All of our guest loved him too. Several of our friends even said they were going to reach out to him about hiring him for their own events. We can’t express enough how much we loved working with Bud. Bud is someone that makes you feel at home even while your being photographed by someone you dont even know. From the moment he arrived at our wedding, Bud felt like an old friend. He was never in the way of our crazy day, but instead kept us calm and on track. He went above and beyond to take pictures of us in the pouring rain and didn't stop until we said we were done. Common Spark is absolutely incredible!!! After meeting with Bud we knew that our search for a photographer was over. I had seen their work because of my sister in law and I absolutely loved their style. However, after working with them personally I love them for beyond just their pictures. Common Spark Media was amazing!! This husband and wife team are quick to respond to your questions and there to support you every step of the way. They love sharing about their past weddings and enjoy helping you plan out all the details of your wedding, so they can meet your every need! We had a meet and greet in person to go over prices and general expectations at Starbucks. Bud is super easy to work with - such a great person as well as a photographer. We also had a phone meeting several weeks before the wedding to make sure he knew who and what I wanted pictures with, we also went over my itinerary at that time. His wife is great when it comes to book keeping and helping keep the bride calm while planning for the BIG day! I was nervous about paying more than expected for our photos - however you have full right to all the photos he takes! You can download them and print them at walmart, cvs , ext. or have them professionally printed. All your photos get loaded onto your own personal webpage so your family and friends can view and download which ever ones they want if you choose to give them the web link. My husband and I were very satisfied with Common Spark Media, Bud has a way of capturing your wedding day unlike any other photographer I have seen! We will be using them for future photo sessions.
