(I want to preface this that it's a very long (and glowing!!!) review, but if you're a bride like I was who cared the MOST about your photos & video and/or are very particular about your vendors/details, I want to tell you exactly why we loved working with Brody so much.)

That said, cannot even begin to express how glad I am that we hired Brody to be a part of our wedding weekend. We hired Brody to capture our rehearsal dinner photography and wedding videography for our September wedding.

Because I knew both events would be large (175+ person rehearsal dinner into welcome party at Old Dominick and a 300+ person wedding at the Pink Palace), I knew I needed someone who could still capture intimate moments throughout the events. I was also looking for a very artistic and documentarian style for both our photos and video, as well as some portraits on film. Brody is an actual accomplished documentarian, so I knew I wanted him to do our video (or we would have hired him to do photography for both events!).

Well let me tell you - Brody absolutely delivered. From the first conversation - Brody was amazing. He 'got' my vision for both events and was so easy to plan and work with. He was like working with one of our friends and we LOVED having him with us all weekend.

When we got our photos and video, back and my husband and I and our families were FLOORED. They are so beautiful and capture so much emotion and love from the weekend. I truly love my rehearsal dinner photos as much as my wedding photos, especially the film portraits. And our wedding video is one of a kind. Brody incorporated footage my sister took on our childhood camcorder, as well as our wedding music, and it's like part documentary, part movie trailer, 100% the 'feel' of the day.

I'm so grateful to Brody and to any brides looking for a photographer or videographer, I can't recommend Brody enough.

We found Brody through google under documentary/street style photography because we knew we wanted candid/real photos. After meeting Brody, we knew immediately he would be the perfect photographer to capture the essence of our wedding day. Finding Brody was one of the best parts of our wedding. He is extremely professional and felt like a friend on our wedding day. He made us and our family/friends feel comfortable and confident in front of a camera. His use of film and digital photography resulted in amazing photos and something we will cherish forever. He exuded positive energy and made meaningful connections with the wedding group. Brody shot my wedding back in May and was the perfect documentary-style fit for our day! He was timely, organized, and captured the day honestly and artfully. We love having a timeless gallery to look back on and know we will share the photos with friends and family for years to come!

If you’re looking for wedding photographers, Brody is not your average shutterbug. He’s a professional creative who is taking the time to do weddings. It’s amazing that we could benefit from his street photography and portrait background. The fact that he’s a documentary filmmaker and artist shows. He’s a genuine person through and through from what we knew about him. The photos that he did for us, turned out amazingly well and he was able to capture such details that stand on their own as art, but from the time of our wedding and all the events around it. He’s personable, talented, and an incredibly skilled photographer. I could not recommend him enough for your special occasion. Brody can fit into spaces with folks that I think others can not, he just has that way about him. He was natural with both the bridal party and the groomsmen as well, and was very calm and easy to work with. I’m also glad that we had him to capture much of the wedding and portraits on film, too. Not something many photographers can do. He nails it the first time and his edits are unique and unparalleled. I’m a photographer as well, and his work will stand the test of time.
