I want to shout about these flowers from the rooftops! I gave Britlyn close to nothing to go on and 6 months out I'm still thinking about her beautiful floral arrangements all the time.
They were sculptural and alive. I still can't believe the colors. Truly one of my favorite things we paid for and worth every penny.
Finally Britlyn was so pleasant to work with. So professional and responsive. I'm so glad she was recommended to us and that we went with her over a brick and mortar. She's a genius.

Planning a wedding through 2020 is hard. Throwing your plan out the window at the beginning of winter and asking your florist to design something jaw-dropping is even harder, but Britlyn delivered. I'm still in disbelief that she managed to get me the one flower I wanted (peonies) last-minute in late November. Her team showed up to set up for our 9am ceremony on-time with masks. They did beautiful and quick work. The flowers lasted as displays through the weekend and we've preserved blooms to hopefully last for ages. I cannot express my gratitude for Britlyn enough, she really came through for us. She has the warmest smile and a genuine, bright laugh. I wish I could have hugged her the day of our ceremony. (edit: not sure why the review says we're getting married in May '22, but our ceremony was 11/29/2020)

Metal & Moss exceeded expectations!(!!!!) Let me tell you what my two best wedding decisions were:
1) Setting aside $$$ to hire Metal & Moss
2) Giving Britlyn the reigns for full creative control because SHE has the talent to make a stallion out of your wedding (if you have control issues like myself, this is hard to do but you must! because guess what, you are not a florist!!)
On our first phone call, I did my best to explain what my vision was and it was something like this, "like organic-y but also romantic? Full but also still airy?" What!! I don't even know what I was saying, but I kid you not, Britlyn took my bowl-of-spaghettios explanation, and created the wedding I had been dreaming of. THAT is Metal and Moss' greatest gift. Interpreting your spaghettios and reading your mind.
Flowers are nature's beauty. They are timeless, and far more impactful than those burlap coasters you were considering at Hobby Lobby. If you are planning a wedding and are feeling iffy about flowers....I implore you, I beg you! cut other things out of your budget (hobby lobby, please) and put it towards Metal & Moss florals.

Best experience with a florist ever!! We met one time in person and I sent her my Pinterest board. She took my vision and made it an incredible reality beyond my imagination! We've gotten non-stop compliments about how beautiful our flower arrangements looked at our wedding. Metal and Moss also made great decisions about things we didn't discuss in detail. For example, the boutonnières for our groom, groomsmen, and mothers were perfect. Simple, elegant, and on point with our color scheme. We can't thank Britlyn and the Metal and Moss team enough for an outstanding job for our wedding!!

I can’t say enough WONDERFUL things about Metal and Moss! Not only is Britlyn an amazing artist with her craft, but she’s just a lovely person all around! For someone like me who originally didn’t even want to mess with florals, Britlyn’s work inspired me to come up with even more ideas I wanted for my wedding and she executed any detail I wanted without me having to worry or stress at all. Every step of the process with Britlyn was positive and seamless. She was professional, responsive and made my vision for my wedding florals even better than I had imaged. I honestly loved every part of Britlyn’s amazing floral design for our wedding and can’t wait to take one of her workshops when I’m in town in Portland!

I don't even know where to begin, I was so blown away by Britlyn's work for our wedding! Our wedding was held in Portsmouth, NH and Britlyn contacted local farms in the area and brought in the most beautiful flowers in shades of purple. Although we didn't give her much direction as to what we wanted, just romantic and whimsical, she did exactly what we hoped but couldn't quite put into words. Her use of simple, elegant forms like tulips mixed with wild bleeding hearts, lilac, and lily of the valley found on site it was like a dream. We wanted the flowers to be the main decoration through out and man, they were just beautiful.

Our family/guests all complimented the flowers and how they fit so nicely with our backyard wedding and added that elegant touch.

I was overwhelmed by the possibility of how much flowers would cost at my wedding. Every place I went to was at least three-five grand just for the basics- a bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, centerpieces, a flower crown, and an arrangement for the top of the fireplace we got married in front of. I was about to go to a wholesale market and arrange my flowers the day before. But a friend of mine reccomended them and my anxiety was gone. They had beautiful, original ideas for my wedding and everything was really affordable! They were very communicative, very helpful, and pleasant the whole time through! They showed up on time, all smiles, and I can’t even describe how beautiful everything was. My jaw dropped when I entered our space- they went above and beyond. They made our special day even more special! Seriously- would reccomend a hundred times!

We hired Metal & Moss for our wedding flowers. I was really impressed by their intentionality. When I inquired about hiring them, they were the only florists that created a "mood board" based off of what I'd told them to ensure that they had the right idea. Britlyn also offered to meet with us in person to talk about our hopes for flowers. I appreciated that. My day-of coordinator added a few things to the order the week of the wedding, and they were great about being flexible.

Local, seasonal, and sustainable flowers were a priority for us, and I was grateful to find them. The flowers were beautiful on the day of the wedding. I like the whimsical, natural design of their arrangements.

There was a slight mix-up about the vases they gave us, and I would've liked to look at some examples of seasonal things that would've been available for the flowers, but I'm not sure if that is a normal part of the process. I would've liked less mystery about what the bouquets would end up looking like. Other than that, I was glad that we chose to go with them.
