Ted and Bright Spot films might just be the Boston-area wedding industry's best kept secret. We had an incredible experience with Ted as our videographer for our May 2022 wedding. My husband and I knew we wanted a videographer to capture our big day, but at first, it was really hard to find one whose artistry/style we loved and was at a reasonable price point in the sea of options on WeddingWire and the Knot. He is a true artist and storyteller, and a consummate and charismatic professional. On the day of the wedding, he struck the perfect balance between 1) being the most awesome and encouraging best friend, cheering us on throughout the day and 2) being completely unobtrusive, capturing all of the key moments without us even noticing he was there. He partnered really well with our photographer. My favorite memory was when the two of them literally stopped traffic in the middle of a busy street to catch us walking hand in hand under a rainbow. It would be an understatement to say that Ted went above and beyond for our wedding. He was super flexible with timing - arriving quite a bit earlier and staying later than our original "contracted time" at no extra cost when our timeline ran late, just to make sure he would be able to capture all the key moments in the day. He scheduled multiple calls with us leading up to the wedding to understand what was important to us. The final work products are just incredible. My husband and I (and our extended families) must have watched his short social media clip hundreds of times just in the first week after our wedding. It really allowed us to relive all the joyful emotions of the day - which, trust me, you will want to do immediately after the wedding is over! Our longer video had everything we wanted and is a perfect keepsake for years to come. It perfectly captured who we are as people and all the big and little moments that made the day special. I actually cannot put into words how amazing Ted is! Our video was SO amazing! Truly captured our day so perfectly and we’re so grateful to have it for forever! We hired Ted to do our wedding video this past September at OceanCliff in Newport, and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made! He was such a pleasure to work with both leading up to and during our wedding – he had the best attitude and made our big day that much more enjoyable.
