I'm a Des Moines, Iowa Wedding and Portrait Photographer with a modern, fine art documentary style. I love connecting with people and working with them to create beautiful memories that they can cherish for years to come.
My style is inspired by real life and I'm passionate about telling stories in a creative and meaningful way. I believe in working tirelessly to capture the smiles, laughs, and tears from moments that are most important to you.
I approach each wedding with a fresh perspective because I believe there is a story in every photo and that a great photograph can speak to someone more than words ever could.
I believe in taking the time to talk with my couples and helping them plan out their wedding day so they can relax and enjoy their time with family and friends as intended.
All-Day Coverage and Engagement sessions are available in most collections and no matter what you choose, I always offer high-resolution, fully-edited images via digital download.

Best wedding photographer ever!
If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!! Having Brian shoot our engagement and wedding day was the best decision we made for our wedding. The photos are so beyond beautiful and everything we hoped for and more. Brian worked well with us to accommodate our photo needs while still maintaining his beautiful aesthetic. Apart from producing amazing photos, Brian is such a blast to work with and made us so comfortable in front of the camera. He made our day so fun and special and we are so grateful to have our beautiful photos and memories from this day.

Loved working with Brian!
Brian captured beautiful, rich photos for our engagement pictures and on our wedding day. He is professional, organized, experienced, calm and laid back. He is very responsive to emails and quickly gave us our edited photos. We had a phone call the week of the wedding to go over the final schedule and details. Brian helped me feel calm on our wedding day and kept us on schedule. I would highly recommend Brian!!

Loved working with Brian!
Brian was our photographer for our wedding day and we feel so lucky to have had him! He made us feel comfortable and at ease all day long and made taking photos a smooth and easy process. Brian was very quick at getting us our photos back and we are so in love with them. He gave us so many great photos to look at and choose from, and I will be recommending him to anyone who is getting married in the future!

Highly recommend Brian!
We couldn't have asked for a better photographer, Brian perfectly captured our wedding day! He was always quick to respond and flexible - we had to postpone our engagement photos due to a rainstorm, then wedding due to covid, and Brian was easy to work with through it all! He made great recommendations to our wedding timeline beforehand, kept us on track the day of, and was enjoyable to be around as a part of our small wedding!

Brian is amazing to work with!
Working with Brian exceeded all expectations I had in a photographer. He took the time to get to know me and my husband before working with us. He drove from Des Moines to Okoboji for our engagement pictures and arrived 2 hours early just so he could drive around and find some good locations. Even though he had never been to Okoboji before, he found the best hidden gems. Our engagement pictures turned out amazing and made me so excited for Brian to take our wedding day pictures! Brian helped to make my wedding day flawless. He helped me plan out a timeline for the day beforehand and kept everyone on schedule the whole day. I couldn’t love our wedding pictures more and I still get compliments on them. Picking Brian as our photographer was one of our best decisions!

Brian is amazing!!
Brian is a blast to work with! He took the time to get to know my wife and I before the wedding, our interests, concerns and love story. His organization and communication was always exceptional. On our big day, Brian made everything fun! Constantly making us laugh and ensuring that we were happy with everything. The final product was nothing short of perfect!
