Facilities and Capacity

The 5,500-square-foot event tent site starts with a 30’ x 50’ frame tent for cocktails. This tent opens to the 40’ x 100’ high peak tent which can seat up to 250 guests. The 30’ x 50’ tent then switches to being your bar and buffet tent, along with high top tables and comfortable furnishings to allow you and your guests to relax. The nearby catering tent houses the staff preparing your wedding cuisine. An executive three-room restroom trailer provides stylish facilities.

Your wedding experience at Brewery Ommegang begins with a conversation between you and the team, either with a phone call or a meeting at the brewery. This will help answer all of your questions and to ascertain the details of the requirements for your special day. Their all-inclusive packages are designed to keep planning as simple and straightforward as possible. They partner with premier vendors to offer you an integrated venue, food, and beverage package. The tent furnishings include 96” x 40” farmhouse or 60” round tables, cross-back mahogany wooden dining room chairs, and iron and glass chandelier lighting. Enjoy a choice of over 60 colors of linens and runners. A hand-laid stone fire pit, customized fireworks displays, and more are available.

Brewery Ommegang offers a wide variety of meats, vegetables, fruits, cheese, and spices in their mains, sides, and soups. Locally-sourced ingredients, combined with pairings of award-winning craft beers and signature cocktails, mean that you and your guests will have a delicious wedding feast.

The Perfect Wedding

I can’t say enough great things about our wedding at Ommegang! We originally were planned for 10/31/20 and then Covid happened. However, Ommegang was fantastic with their communication and helping us re-plan everything. They work together with Cooperstown Event Company and LM Townsend Catering, both of which are also fantastic ! Everyone was so accommodating and helped make our dream wedding come to life ! Tim, Mark and Lucy made us feel comfortable and calm through the entire process. I had no doubt in my mind that everything would be perfect. Highly recommend for any event !

Exactly what we wanted!

The staff at Ommegang was great, we had such a wonderful experience working with them. We were able to tailor the wedding to be exactly what we were looking for, and they helped solve any bumps that came up along the way. Very organized, very friendly and professional. 10/10!

Ommegang Wedding

After getting engaged in April 2019, we knew right away that we wanted to host our wedding in Cooperstown. One of the main reasons we ultimately chose Ommegang was due to their all inclusive package. Some venues require you as the bride and groom to handle rentals for things like heaters, tents, tables, linens, etc. With Ommegang, this is all part of your package and ensures nothing is forgotten on the big day. Our wedding was originally scheduled for 10/17/20, but had to be postponed to 9/11/21 due to COVID-19. Ommegang was great about letting us know what dates were available for 2021 and worked through the changes with us as things evolved with the pandemic. Everything was well organized, we had lots of communication via e-mail (we live 4 hours away) and a few in person meetings that took care of everything and addressed all of our questions. The Ommegang team partners with Cooperstown Event Company and they all work together seamlessly. We were able to provide decorations in advance to be set up to our wishes and at the end of the evening everything was cleaned up and ready to load back in our cars. Tim at Ommegang and Mark at Cooperstown Event Company really went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect and were incredibly responsive over the two plus years from when we booked the wedding originally.

Wonderful experience!

My husband and I knew we wanted to get married at Ommegang as soon as we got engaged, and the team there made all of our dreams come true. Tim and Samantha are so wonderful to work with, made everything so easy, and were incredibly helpful on the day of. Samantha even golf carted us around and brought us drinks while we were taking photos during the reception! I loved how the venue is all-inclusive with catering & rentals, it made everything so easy. All of their partners are so great to work with- all in all I cannot not say enough positive things about having our wedding at Ommegang! Our guests were stunned at the beauty and are still talking about how great everything was. Can not recommend enough!

Great experience with a great vendor

We loved having our rehearsal dinner at Brewery Ommegang. We also considered this site for our wedding, but ultimately decided to go for a more all-inclusive wedding package than Ommegang offered. We worked with Tim to coordinate the details of our rehearsal dinner and he was wonderful to work with. The beer and food are both stellar, and the space is beautiful. We had the whole place to ourselves on a Friday evening and everyone who attended seemed to have a great time. Thanks to Tim and the rest of the staff! Would definitely recommend to anyone planning a wedding in the area.

Fabulous and Fun Rehearsal Dinner

My son and daughter in law's rehearsal dinner was fabulous and fun on June 4, 2021! Tim and his Ommegang staff went above and beyond to make the evening easy to plan, flawless and fun! They took care of every last detail and allowed my family to sit back and enjoy the evening before our son's big wedding day! The food and drinks were amazing! An extra bonus was having a private room with easy access to the Firepit Friday event scheduled at the brewery! If you need to book an event in the Cooperstown area then book a party here! You won't regret it!

Wonderful Rehearsal Dinner

As the mother of the Groom the Rehearsal Dinner was THE opportunity to show the Brides family and friends how grateful we were for all the welcoming warmth and graciousness to our family. We live at the other end of the country and Ommegang couldn’t have been more pleasant to work with. Planning an event in NY during the Covid 19 lock down had many challenges but working with Ommegang was not one of them. They were very flexible and worked with me to make transform their pub into our vision.

We Love Ommegang!

Ommegang is a beautiful place to get married. The staff was amazing throughout the entire process. They were so accommodating when it came to the many changes we had do to COVID. Their wedding packages are a great option to have an “all inclusive” wedding.
