Alyssa was so incredibly on top of everything! At first, I was a little unsure because she seemed pretty strict about her policies, timelines, etc. But trust me—you WANT that! Her organization and clear expectations gave me so much peace of mind leading up to the wedding. I never had to wonder about unexpected costs, and her process helped encourage my friends and family to make decisions about what they wanted well in advance. She also provided an incredibly helpful packet with information on how to best prepare my skin and hair leading up to the wedding.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do a hair and makeup trial since I lived out of state, but Alyssa still took the time to meet with me virtually to discuss exactly what I wanted and go through inspiration photos. She really made an effort to understand what I liked and, just as importantly, what I didn’t like about different looks. She reviewed everything with me again in the days leading up to and the morning of the wedding to make sure we were on the same page.

On the wedding morning, Alyssa and her team were incredibly kind, professional, and efficient. They made what could have been a stressful morning feel easy and enjoyable, and they were wonderful with both me and all of my friends and family.

One thing I especially want to highlight is the makeup look Alyssa created for me. I almost never wear makeup and definitely did NOT want a full-glam look. I wanted to still feel like myself, and Alyssa absolutely nailed it. She listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job evening out my skin tone and highlighting my features without making my makeup feel heavy or “caked on.” I was absolutely overjoyed with how I looked! Even better, the products they used on my skin were amazing and I had no reaction to them at all.

Overall, I would highly recommend Alyssa and her team to anyone looking for a wedding hair and makeup artist. Her organization, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to really listen to what you want made such a difference in my wedding experience. You won’t regret booking her!

Alyssa was absolutely wonderful and I'm writing this far too late to do her credit (we got married in late October of 2024). The photos I'm adding are mostly of myself as the bride. I came to Alyssa with a vague vibe and only a few inspiration photos and she pulled off something I couldn't have dreamed of. She was able to effortlessly include the moon fork I wanted to incorporate and threw in some star clips to complete the look. In late October the weather could change during the day vs the night so she helped teach my mom and sister how to easily change the whole thing into a single braid if I started overheating during the ceremony (which we ended up not needing but was very helpful to have just in case). She was incredibly calm in the face of our chaos and is also very very creative. My bouquet was attached to a sword that I carried down the aisle and when it got delivered from the florist that morning, it wasn't quite what I had pictured, but Alyssa swooped right in and helped adjust it to exactly what I wanted (pic attached). She also did the hair for several other members of our party who were all quite happy with their results. I feel so bad for writing such a late review, but she was simply incredible. Absolutely would recommend.

Alyssa and Marin were fabulous! So kind, talented, efficient, and professional. I was looking for an artist that could accomplish a natural soft look and these girls delivered! I had 8 bridesmaids, and 2 mothers that needed hair and makeup. These two women worked so well together! We were right on time/slightly ahead of schedule which really helped the day run smoothly. We were all so impressed with their efficiency and the quality of their work. Everyone looked beautiful! Highly recommend!

I hired Alyssa based off of her amazing photos on instagram and I was not disappointed! She traveled all the way to Yosemite for our elopement and even brought my bouquet from my florist with her! I absolutely loved my hair for my elopement and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would 10/10 recommend Alyssa for your wedding day!

Alyssa did the most amazing job for our wedding day! She completed 7 bridesmaids, two mothers and the bride without a hitch! She was professional and easy going. Everyone's hair looked beautiful. She made the vision of soft romantic braids come to life for everyone.

I contacted Alyssa Jones via email and Instagram. She replied about a week later through email with her pricing & let me know she was available - once I let her know what I wanted, I never heard back. I sent another email to make sure she received my message, however, no response. Maybe she went out of business? Or she may not have replied because I only need hair done for about 4 people and it wouldn’t be worth her time? Either way, pretty disappointing!
