Established in 1959.

Boston Party Rental began as a United Rent-All franchise in 1959. In the early days, it was primarily a one and two man operation carrying a full line of rental inventory from party to light contractor and homeowner's equipment. In 1964, the franchise relationship ended and Boston Party Rental was born.
The initial location of the business was in Mattapan at an 800 square foot location. In 1978, the business was relocated to a 4800 square foot building in Dorchester which was later expanded to become 8800 square feet.
In 2014 the sales department was consolidated and the warehouse and distribution was moved to 40 Strafello Drive in Avon, Massachusetts.
On February 1, 2017 Boston Party Rental became a division of B.C. Tent & Awning moving to its current location at 25 Bodwell Street in Avon.
