The term “Bokeh” is defined as is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens. Ok, what does that even mean!? It’s that cool looking picture where the background is blurry but the image in the center is crystal clear and perfectly focused. Our philosophy centers on this idea as a metaphor for your big day. Your wedding day is the culmination of hundreds of hours of planning and preparation. The days leading up to it can be stressful but the day of the wedding is a celebration of your commitment to each other. Our goal is to make sure that you are the sole focus of the day, that everything and everyone else are simply the background, and that you can have lasting images of the happiest day of your life!

Mike Zale
Mike Zale

With an extensive background in music, Mike has always had a passion for the art of storytelling. Maybe that is why his wedding videos are more like cinematic short films than traditional wedding films. Mike first started in videography by creating short videos for his church and fell in love with the art. He filmed his first wedding in 2012 and started editing and second shooting for a renowned wedding cinematographer in NYC. Since then, he has honed his own style and storytelling craft while earning a reputation for building timeless keepsakes for couples around the world. So grab a coffee, maybe a few tissues as well, and watch some of our cinematic highlight films. If our style of warm tones and outdoor adventures fits yours, we'd love to connect and hear your story!

From a young age, Kristen has had an eye for all things creative. She studied art in college and has dabbled with photography since then. She started turning a simple hobby into her profession after she was asked to shoot her first wedding in 2012. From there she has studied the art of photography and began earning a reputation for her iconic warm color tones and adventurous style. She is fun and relatable. So much so that her couples quickly turn from mere clients, to friends who text each other for advice all the time. She simply loves love and cries at pretty much anything romantic. This passion is evident in photography as well as in everything she does for each and every client. This is a passion that continues to grow and we want to share in that with you as well!
