I am thrilled to have the opportunity to write a review for Mind Body Spirit Day Spa as my experience there was excellent! Michelle did my bridal hair and Jess did my makeup. I would not have driven all the way to Groton from where I live for my trials - nor frankly spent as much money on my hair and makeup – if the quality of the services was not so fabulous! The spa itself is a sanctuary of serenity with its ethereal and classy ambiance. For my wedding, Michelle and Jess came to the hotel where I was staying for the wedding and styled myself, the bridesmaids, flower girls, and my mom. They came to the hotel bright and early with lots of energy and smiles and tirelessly worked to make us all look perfect. They made the prep time even more fun for us all and I was thrilled with how everyone's hair and makeup turned out. They brought every possible product and tool that they might need for all of us and left the place spotless after the fact. We were in rather tight quarters with so many of us, but they were extremely professional and worked magic with the time and space they had. I would highly recommend Mind Body Spirit Day Spa for an event or just to anyone looking for a new beautician as these lovely ladies are just delightful and clearly extremely talented.

For my wedding Michelle did my hair in a 1920s finger curl and it was FABULOUS! We accented it with a vintage brooch/pin. Michelle loves what she does and if you tell her your thoughts and ideas she will run with them. She is very easy to talk to and makes you feel very comfortable. My hair was the talk of the night! It was definitely on the pricey side but if you have a challenging hair style....she can do it! I also had my makeup done at BMSDS. I had a last minute issue with my makeup artist the week of my wedding and I was flipping out. They would not let my makeup artist come into the salon which I understood so I had Jessica (I hope that's right!) do my makeup. Both her and Michelle called to speak with me and I greatly appreciated it. They put me at ease knowing I was in a bind. She used a mineral makeup line and did a very good job but didn't spend that much time with me, couldn't have been more than 30 minutes. My mother in law had her makeup done as well and didn't pay a fraction of the cost I did....but when it's for a wedding it's always more expensive :). Overall, I was very pleased with my hair and makeup. The only bummer was my friends came to join me and had champagne and we could not drink any even though we were in a back room. Oh well......
