Megan was fantastic, very prompt and professional, and perhaps most importantly, the photographs are gorgeous. We went with Blue Jar Photography because we knew the pictures were one of things that we wanted to invest in and have done well. Having followed her on instagram well-before the wedding, I knew I loved Megan's eye and style in pictures. Specifically, I love that her pictures are elegant in a clean and modern way. The color-pictures are gorgeous, but I've always been drawn to black and white. Megan gave us many amazing options of both.

Additionally, directly after the wedding, I asked Megan to review the pictures and maybe select one really great shot and clean it up early for our thank-you cards. Without flinching (even though this was well-before the pictures should've been done), she sent me about 20 gorgeous photos, including one was not only perfect for my thank you cards, but also turned out to be our favorite.

Additionally, Megan is fantastic at capturing small moments and working with what she has. Some of my favorite pictures are small moments of people hanging out with our dog Olive at the reception or the groomsmen pinning flowers onto each other. We did a fairly small and low-key wedding--and we were in-between houses at the time (not the best for pre-wedding pictures...!). Even still, Megan took my dress and the rings outside and got some absolutely stunning pictures of them in nature. The beauty of the pictures at the wedding were part location, but Megan really impressed us with her creativity with the pictures that were in less than ideal locations.

I can't say enough good things about Meg. Not only was she just lovely to correspond with leading up to our engagement photos, but she did a PHENOMINAL job. She made us feel so comfortable and cute during our session, and her pictures came out AMAZING. She's the perfect photographer if you want natural, documentary style photographs that really just bring out your love and joy for each other. 10/10 would recommend!!

Words can't describe how incredible Meg is, not only as an artist and photographer, but also as a person. Meg is not only great at what she does, but she is also passionate about it- and it shows not only in the photos she shares, but her personality. The minute I pulled up to the venue with my bridal party the day of our wedding, I saw Meg, and felt an immediate sense of relief. Having Meg there on your wedding day will not only make you want to have ANOTHER wedding so she can be there to photograph again, but her energy is so contagious that she’ll make you wish she was there as a guest. I could go on and on about Meg’s positivity and passion and how beautiful she made our day... but if you look at her work, you can see it for yourself. If you’re looking for a genuinely beautiful person to work with, whose positivity and passion is contagious, stop looking for another photographer and book Meg. She is the BEST.
