Blessed Be Photography is a passionate photographer/videographer based in Wilmington, North Carolina. Blessed Be Photography uses a variety of techniques to create one-of-a-kind photographs. These photographic techniques include contemporary, natural, photojournalistic, vintage, and traditional. On your big day, dedicated photographer Nick Downer and a second photographer will travel to several of your chosen locations. They will follow a one-event-per-day policy and remain on site until the end of your wedding or engagement. Nick and their fellow photographer will also be happy to provide luxurious photoshoots for you and your partner. Crazy enough, your photographer is the person who you & your significant other will be with the most on your wedding day, so I wanted to share a little more about myself!

When I don't have a camera in my hand, you will probably find me at the beach, hiking the mountains, or at home with my fam. I'm married to my amazing wife Danielle and A father to two wonderful kids! We also have a 3 year old golden retriever named Belle. Me and my wife Danielle, have been together since 2009! Some call us high school sweethearts! We both enjoy photography and have always had a camera on standby for any occasion!
My vision is to create images that capture the essence of my couple: their love, laughter, joy, and style. My photography is inspired by natural and timeless imagery that reflect the true personalities and experiences of each couple’s wedding that can be enjoyed for years to come.
As such, we specialize in natural light photography. I view my photography as a celebration of life. I strive to shoot the feeling of each particular wedding day so that my photographs will still hold their power decades later.
