I was nervous about hiring a DJ at first, but after meeting Johnny; my husband and I were put at ease. Johnny is knowledgeable at his craft. During the meeting, he was able to break down the timeline and knew exactly when to and how to start cues throughout the wedding. During the wedding, Johnny DJ came with many great surprises during his time as a DJ at my wedding! He is very family friendly and knows how to entertain a crowd! Johnny did a fabulous job as DJ at our wedding (an outdoor ceremony + indoor reception)! I’d recommend him to anyone. I was first impressed with his services at my friend’s wedding, where he was the DJ and MC (in 2 languages), played guitar, kept the crowd engaged with games during dinner, and/or brought out breakdancers from his team when the floor was empty. Johnny does a great job of reading the energy of the room to keep guests vibing and/or on the dance floor. He was one of the 1st vendors I booked, because I was so confident in his work.

In preparation for wedding day, Johnny provides worksheets for the couple to fill out ahead of time. It allowed us to go over all music preferences for each part of the day and/or if you’re interested in him hosting games during the reception. I was happily surprised that I was able to get our uplighting and dance floor lighting for the reception hall through him too—these made such a big difference visually.

At my outdoor reception, apparently there was a glitch with the microphone sound at the beginning of our ceremony (which went unnoticed by me). Once guests arrived, all their cell signals interfered with the microphone signals briefly, but Johnny was a pro and resolved it quickly—I didn’t even learn about it until he told me later! Johnny is who you want to hire for your next event.

I can not recommend Johnny and Blaze The Tables more. He took all my wedding suggestions and made them a reality. He and his team were so professional and even when things didn't go exactly as planned (thanks to our lovely family lol) Johnny quickly adapted and never missed a beat. I still have guests gushing over how well they did and how much fun the reception was. Johnny and his team are so easy and friendly to work with and I want another event so that I can have them DJ it again!

Johnny Blaze is incredible! He DJ'd at my brother's wedding reception and we just knew we had to have him for ours. He really helps take the guess-work out of what you need for the day, helps with timelines, sets up early to make sure everything runs smoothly, is attentive throughout the night, provides entertainment not only with music/sound, but with games and even performing! Johnny and his team are very awesome. He has a lot of experience as a DJ and emceeing for weddings, for all of my family meme era and guest love the atmosphere that he brought to our special day. Johnny went above and beyond to make sure everything is good. We were informed by the wedding reception venue 2 days before our special day about the problem with the LED screen and it might not work at all. He was flexible enough to accommodate for us at the last minute. Fortunately the electrics issue with the LED screen was fixed the night before our event, but Johnny still brought all of the projector and screen with him for back up. It was the best decision for us to hire him his team. I sincerely recommend Johnny and his team for your special day.

Overall an incredible experience working with Richard. He was so kind and responsive to our needs and made sure we had such a great day. Our wedding was made with him being there!

Richard did an amazing job MC’ing as a DJ in both English and Vietnamese for our friends and family at our American wedding ceremony/reception! We provided a general list of songs/style we were going for and he nailed it!

They were amazing and very professional to work with. All our guests were very impressed, especially when they started break dancing on the dance floor! They took our song choices into consideration and were even able to take song suggestions from guests during the reception as well. Johnny even played guitar and sang a song himself, and also let one of our guests play his guitar. They also had games to keep people entertained such as the newlywed game and guess the song lyrics and gave out prizes for winners. Johnny also speaks Vietnamese which helped as he could translate for our primarily Vietnamese speaking guests for our mixed culture wedding. We got many compliments from guests on how great they were. We highly recommend Blaze the Tables!
