I'm Kristen. We live just north of Big Sur in THE cutest little underrated town called Pacific Grove. I photograph elopements, weddings, proposals and families because I love love. It's the best feeling in the world to be with couples when they commit to one another...it's a legit adrenaline rush. My photos show real feelings. Nothing forced. My job to make sure you feel comfortable and are able to be yourself. I shoot in Big Sur, Carmel by the Sea, and Carmel Valley. A lot of my clients are from out of town, so part of my job is helping you plan the perfect proposal or elopement. I know a ton of great spots, the best time of day for lighting for each spot, and wonderful, hardworking local vendors to take the stress out of it! It's fun to be a local guide and help you along the way. Then, making natural, real and emotional images are what I'm good at.

Things I love: my girls, my family/friends, coffee, vintage jewelry, global purses/bags I collect while abroad, hats, massages, peonies and wildflowers, all holidays, wandering in new cities, and supporting/empowering local women-owned businesses. I spent my twenties adventure seeking, living abroad nonstop and traveling to over thirty countries, but now I'm spending my thirties super local with my two beautiful little girls and supportive hubby. I'm so thankful for this open space we have here, especially now. Walks in nature, bookstores, farmers markets, coffee shops, playgrounds and connecting with my friends/family...turns out the simple life is where it's at.
