Bethany Blues Restaurant & Catering

Nicole and her team were so awesome to work with for our wedding! The food was absolutely amazing and they gave huge portions, our guests were raving about it! The service was excellent and everyone got their food in a very timely manner. I would recommend Bethany blues to anyone!

Bethany Blues catered our wedding and they were AMAZING!!! The food and the service, all are top notch! The food was a huge hit and everyone loved it. One of our groomsmen had 4 plates worth of food, And one of our bridesmaids said a week later she was still drooling over the food. Also, the desserts were an even bigger hit as we did a bunch of different assorted desserts for everyone. One of the guests said that was the best “invention” ever and she tried all of them and loved the idea and how they tasted so much. She said she now has high wedding expectations for desserts. Who also did a cake and that was awesome too! Everything was perfect, and we really appreciated how they came to the beach while we were getting pictures and gave us a drink and some food, it meant a lot! Their team goes above and beyond and we just had such a magical day!

We have been regulars at Bethany Blues for years, so we knew all about their delicious food and diverse menu. But the catering was above and beyond in a way we couldn't even imagine. Kathy is incredible. She helped us create the wedding menu of our dreams (offering her advice like what appetizers guests seem to love at all events). She made sure that even with COVID-19 restrictions our bar service and buffet could be executed perfectly. The staff was professional and pleasant. On the wedding day itself, Kathy created personal touches (like bringing a platter of the passed apps to us while we had our bridal party shoot) that made us feel so well taken care of, on top of our guests. Plus Nicole's desserts were so perfect and she was such a joy to work with, even when we changed things last minute. Bethany Blues is simply the best caterer in the area, offering options for vegan guests and kids menus (all at an amazing price) and we are so grateful to have them on our team.

We love Bethany Blues so it was a no brainer when they were available for our rehearsal dinner. Kathy was super responsive and very helpful answering all our questions. Everyone LOVED the food, people were still talking about it the morning of the wedding saying how great everything was. Not only was the food awesome but the room was perfect. I would not hesitate to have another event there!

10 seconds after meeting Kathy from Bethany Blue's, it was obvious we had made the right choice in choosing BB to cater our wedding. Kathy was more than hospitable to our guests, the staff was friendly and happy, and the food was out of this world! Choose them!

When my wife and I went for our food tasting we had an idea of what we were looking for. Wow did Kathy and her team take that idea and run with it. Everyone guest raved about the food and asked us where they could go to get it. The servers had additional work due to Covid and had to serve alcohol to the tables. They were attentive and everything went off without a hitch. Bethany Blues Catering did it all!!!!

I stumbled into Bethany Blues for my wedding cake while out at a bar (DE is such a small state!). I didn't even know their catering included bakery items! I was struggling to find somewhere in the area with availability for our wedding date since apparently September is a popular wedding month at the beaches. My now husband and I decided that doing a tasting wouldn't hurt and we were floored. The cakes and icings we tried were all so delicious. Everyone knows Bethany Blues has delicious foods, but the amazing cakes was such a great surprise! Not only were all of the cakes so tasty, but Nicole helped us design our cake. I had a couple of ideas (I wanted a naked cake, only 2 tiers), but that was about it. After showing her some inspiration pictures, discussing our wedding theme and colors, she came up with some different ideas. They were able to deliver the cake for us and set everything up. And when we cut into the cake on our wedding day, it was just as delicious as we remembered, and beautiful to boot. The price was so reasonable (how many people have talked about spending >$500 on A CAKE?!) and Nicole was great to work with. I even somehow forgot to pay for it and ended up having to call while getting ready to pay. I was so worried they would end up not making the cake and thinking I didn't mean it, but she was so nice about it. Everything turned out perfect, can't say enough good things!
