Amazing food and service!

Nicole and her team were so awesome to work with for our wedding! The food was absolutely amazing and they gave huge portions, our guests were raving about it! The service was excellent and everyone got their food in a very timely manner. I would recommend Bethany blues to anyone!

Amazing, best food and service!

Bethany Blues catered our wedding and they were AMAZING!!! The food and the service, all are top notch! The food was a huge hit and everyone loved it. One of our groomsmen had 4 plates worth of food, And one of our bridesmaids said a week later she was still drooling over the food. Also, the desserts were an even bigger hit as we did a bunch of different assorted desserts for everyone. One of the guests said that was the best “invention” ever and she tried all of them and loved the idea and how they tasted so much. She said she now has high wedding expectations for desserts. Who also did a cake and that was awesome too! Everything was perfect, and we really appreciated how they came to the beach while we were getting pictures and gave us a drink and some food, it meant a lot! Their team goes above and beyond and we just had such a magical day!

The Best Caterer

We have been regulars at Bethany Blues for years, so we knew all about their delicious food and diverse menu. But the catering was above and beyond in a way we couldn't even imagine. Kathy is incredible. She helped us create the wedding menu of our dreams (offering her advice like what appetizers guests seem to love at all events). She made sure that even with COVID-19 restrictions our bar service and buffet could be executed perfectly. The staff was professional and pleasant. On the wedding day itself, Kathy created personal touches (like bringing a platter of the passed apps to us while we had our bridal party shoot) that made us feel so well taken care of, on top of our guests. Plus Nicole's desserts were so perfect and she was such a joy to work with, even when we changed things last minute. Bethany Blues is simply the best caterer in the area, offering options for vegan guests and kids menus (all at an amazing price) and we are so grateful to have them on our team.

The best BBQ & service

We would 100% recommend Bethany Blues to anyone getting married in Delaware. The food was delicious and the staff was so helpful and accommodating, especially in COVID times. If they weren’t my favorite restaurant already...

We love Bethany Blues so it was a no brainer when they were available for our rehearsal dinner. Kathy was super responsive and very helpful answering all our questions. Everyone LOVED the food, people were still talking about it the morning of the wedding saying how great everything was. Not only was the food awesome but the room was perfect. I would not hesitate to have another event there!

Best food, best service for a wedding!

10 seconds after meeting Kathy from Bethany Blue's, it was obvious we had made the right choice in choosing BB to cater our wedding. Kathy was more than hospitable to our guests, the staff was friendly and happy, and the food was out of this world! Choose them!

Best Catering in Rehoboth

When my wife and I went for our food tasting we had an idea of what we were looking for. Wow did Kathy and her team take that idea and run with it. Everyone guest raved about the food and asked us where they could go to get it. The servers had additional work due to Covid and had to serve alcohol to the tables. They were attentive and everything went off without a hitch. Bethany Blues Catering did it all!!!!

Such an amazing cake! (Did you even know they make cakes????)

I stumbled into Bethany Blues for my wedding cake while out at a bar (DE is such a small state!). I didn't even know their catering included bakery items! I was struggling to find somewhere in the area with availability for our wedding date since apparently September is a popular wedding month at the beaches. My now husband and I decided that doing a tasting wouldn't hurt and we were floored. The cakes and icings we tried were all so delicious. Everyone knows Bethany Blues has delicious foods, but the amazing cakes was such a great surprise! Not only were all of the cakes so tasty, but Nicole helped us design our cake. I had a couple of ideas (I wanted a naked cake, only 2 tiers), but that was about it. After showing her some inspiration pictures, discussing our wedding theme and colors, she came up with some different ideas. They were able to deliver the cake for us and set everything up. And when we cut into the cake on our wedding day, it was just as delicious as we remembered, and beautiful to boot. The price was so reasonable (how many people have talked about spending >$500 on A CAKE?!) and Nicole was great to work with. I even somehow forgot to pay for it and ended up having to call while getting ready to pay. I was so worried they would end up not making the cake and thinking I didn't mean it, but she was so nice about it. Everything turned out perfect, can't say enough good things!

Nicole is amazing to work with

Nicole was amazing!! I can not express how much we enjoyed working with her. We live about 3-4 hours away and she made sure we stayed in the loop for everything, especially during covid. We had two tastings with Bethany blues before our wedding and Nicole actually made our wedding cake! They are definitely a restaurant we will visit while we’re in town.

Absolutely awesome experience!

We hired Bethany Blues to cater our wedding and we were ability blown away by the friendliness, attentiveness, service, and professionalism that Cathy and her entire staff exhibited. Cathy took great care in making sure every detail was perfect and the event went so smoothly because of it. Our guests have not stopped raving about the food and we are truly appreciative of the amazing efforts of the Bethany Blues crew to accommodate everyone’s needs. Our wedding would not have been the same without them and we would highly recommend hiring them for any event.

Kathy and her team were AMAZING! Kathy was very easy to work with. She was always so quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had via email or on the phone. The food was Excellent! Delicious and awesome to work with!

We bought our wedding cake from Bethany Blues and their pastry chef Nicole absolutely knocked it out of the park! It was exactly what we had envisioned and she was super friendly and easy to work with!

Best in the Business!

Bethany Blues catered my rehearsal dinner and everything was perfect! Kathy, Jess and Nicole made sure everything was properly planned and executed. They made sure the night was seamless from beginning to end. All of the food was so delicious! Nicole made our wedding cake as well (she is their hidden gem.) Bethany Blues staff are experts at what they do. I would recommend their catering services to anyone for all of your wedding or event needs!

We could not be happier with our choice in catering for our wedding. Nicole was awesome to work with throughout the entire process and everything was absolutely perfect on our wedding day. Everyone always says the bride and groom don’t get a chance to eat on their wedding day but that was absolutely not the case with us. Nicole had a plate of appetizers waiting for us at our seats and continued to bring us food from each station and plenty of drinks throughout the entire dinner. We happily took the leftovers the next day and got to enjoy it all over again! Best wedding food ever!

Amazing Food!

Kathy and the rest of the Bethany Blues team were wonderful. Kathy went above & beyond to accommodate all of our needs. The food was amazing and all of our guests loved every bite, even the picky eaters!! To top it off, Bethany Blues boxed up all of the leftovers at the end of the night for us and they even helped with cleanup!! You won't be disappointed (or hungry)!!

Outstanding

From booking to the day of, the services were impeccable. The food is amazing and the staff is out of this world. Not one of your guests will leave hungry and you can’t pick a bad option because there isn’t one. If you want an amazing quality without having to lift a finger then you won’t be disappointed if this is who you choose. Worth every penny spent!

Exceeds expectations!

Nicole and the Bethany Blues’ team was incredible. From helping us plan and answering ALL of our questions along the way to delivering the best service all night long! Because of their team I had no concerns the day of our wedding. I knew the food and our guest would be taken care of. Nicole went above and beyond her duties. Perfect from start to finish!

The staff from Bethany Blues was top notch from start to finish. They worked with the bride and groom along the way and made sure everything was exactly how they wanted. The day of the wedding, Kathy and the staff went beyond their duties and jumped in and did whatever was needed. The food was plentiful and delicious. The venue told us afterward that Bethany Blues was the easiest, most organized caterer they have worked with. I just can’t say enough about Bethany Blues Catering.

Exceeded all my expectations

From initial meeting, to tasting, to coordinating, to working with other vendors, to of course the big day- Nicole and her team were FLAWLESS. Wonderful service, plenty of staff, and DELICIOUS food. I would recommend them 100x over.

Just want to rave about Bethany Blues for my daughter's wedding. Great people. Kathy Callahan was fantastic to work with. The food was plentiful and fantastic and offered for an extended period of time. The people who attended the wedding were delighted because the vegetables were roasted and the meat/fish were plain and sauce could be added if you wanted it. Great for diabetics or people on specific diets. I would highly recommend Bethany Blues for your event. Also The Covered Bridge Inn was great. Innkeeper, Ingrid and staff all great. A very positive experience. It is a pleasure to sing accolades for businesses who do a great job.

Bethany Blues was by the far the right choice to host our wedding reception. A lot of the reviews are for the Lewes location-but ours is for the Bethany location. They had a flexible catering menu--but you have to ask for it. It's not readily available on their website. When we set up a tasting--it was 100 percent complimentary and we had food for about a week after with all the leftovers. We worked with Tiffany Cordeaux at Bethany Blues and she was very responsive and accommodating.
When we hosted our wedding-she gave me an idea about how much the food would cost for 55 people and less. She wrote the contract probably a dozen times with different options. They offered us happy hour drink prices during our reception. We came up with what we'd like to serve and there really wasn't any complaints. They blocked off the side of the restaurant for us and reserved a part of the bar for us. She let us add more food up until the day before the wedding. The service was phenomenal with passed spring rolls and 3 options of wings which my guests went gaga over. We hadn't gotten to try the tequila lime wings at the tasting--but we changed that the day before too and they were a hit. They came up with a great signature drink that was a hit our Apple Cider Mimosa with a brown sugar rim. So many people had one of these and they were so good. Everyone was taken care of by the excellent staff who were there clearing plates when people were done and asking before just taking. Sometimes they take people's plates when they aren't done eating. Not here. Also the food is to die for. The chefs are professionals

I thought the service at Bethany Blues was impeccable and would not hesitate to do it again. They were amazing. Hire them. You won't regret it--and they boxed up our leftovers for us!

We had an amazing experience using Bethany Blues for our wedding. Jessica was very helpful and responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the beginning, working with Jessica and Nicole at Bethany Blues was a terrific experience. We started off scheduling a tasting, which was an experience in and of itself! They brought us a TON of excellent food to try, and they even introduced us to the chefs! On the day of our wedding, everything was perfectly on time, they were very clean and tidy, and everybody on the team was really kind.

We selected the following:
Appetizers - Carolina pork tacos, charcuterie board, chicken spring rolls. (We and our guests absolutely LOVED the Carolina pork tacos, and would highly recommend them.)
Entree - Crab cakes, beef brisket. (Both of these dishes were some of the best I've ever had.)
Sides - Mac and cheese, roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, corn bread, Blues house salad. (The mac and cheese and the corn bread are a must!)
Dessert - Chocolate filled and chocolate frosted vanilla cupcakes, pineapple coconut cupcakes, ricotta cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and coconut macaroons. (The desserts were so good, people came up to us and asked for extras to take home the next morning!)

All in all, the quality of the food and the quality of the service far exceeded our expectations. Every single guest was satisfied with their meal, and people are still talking about how amazing the food was two weeks later! We cannot recommend Bethany Blues, and Jessica and Nicole, highly enough!

Bethany Blues was really quite outstanding to work with. We had a number of snafus with the rental place and they worked with our wedding coordinator to make sure everything was taken care of. They really went the extra mile for us and made our day perfect. And the food! Everyone absolutely raved about it, and some people went back for 3rds. We couldn't have asked for more!

BB went above and beyond in every way for our wedding and they worked with us to make all of our visions come to life. On top of that, there food was the BEST food I've ever had at a wedding (not being biased even though it was our wedding). Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Their food is awesome and their server and staff who came to the venue were accommodating as well. All of our guests raved about all the cocktails and dinner! 10/10 recommend. Wish I could go back just to eat more of our food!

The entire group at Bethany Blues was amazing! Jessica and her catering chef truly assisted us with our every need and suited our exact vision. Not only was the food abselutely delicious, but the service and overall plan for the evening was perfect. They helped us to make the day even better and more tasty then we could have ever imagined. Jessica was able to work with us on our budget in order to get us exactly what we were hoping for without breaking the bank. Everything from the appetizers to the salad, sides, and main courses were delicious and guests are still talking about our wedding and the delicious food! We would definitely recommend Bethany Blues, Jessica, and their team to anyone, for any event. They are awesome!

Our guests absolutely LOVED the food at our wedding! Bethany blues catered my wedding last weekend. 250+ guests. Mrs Jess is the best!! Everything was perfect, guests were raving about the food for days. We even had some leftover to enjoy for a BBQ the next day! Food was amazing, the staff were all friendly & working their butts off to make sure everything was perfect & everyone has happy! Bethany Blues Catering services was out of this world for our wedding day. As local Delawareans, we could not have been more honored to have Bethany Blues cater our wedding. From the beginning, Jessica was extremely easy to work with and have a great time with at the catering meetings. She was on top of every little detail and added invaluable wedding experience tips to our wedding day. The food was not only spectacular, but it was affordable and Jessica was attentive and worked with all sized budgets to make the day wonderful. The set up and take down was all assisted with the catering staff and their hard work and organization. The staff was extremely attentive throughout the night, yet you didn't even know they were there at the same time! I trusted them with all the seamless transitions from cocktail hour to reception and the buffet flowed flawlessly through dinner. We were able to choose an array of options that pleased our large wedding. If we had to do it again, we would absolutely choose Bethany Blues Catering!

Jessica and her team at Bethany Blues were absolutely amazing to work with! Dylan and I love the food, and already knew that this is what we wanted to serve at our wedding. It is not just BBQ food - so don't let that fool you! And it's not a messy BBQ, so it is perfect for weddings! We had so many compliments on how amazing the food was, and how attentive they were ensuring everyone had drinks the entire night.

It was Jessica and her team who truly made it an amazing experience. She didn't miss one detail and made sure we had everything we needed to rent for our big day. Jessica was extremely flexible with our menu and helping us come up with some ideas. She was flexible with us and helped display our dessert and popcorn bar even though it was not Bethany Blues. At the end of the reception, the entire team helped break down the reception and clean up. I would highly recommend using Bethany Blues for any catered event. Thank you so much Jess!!

We LOVE Jess and the team at Bethany Blues!! All of our guests raved about the service and food at our wedding!! and leading up to the event, it was so great to work with Jess to put together our menu! We always had such a great time at our meetings (and great food of course!)
Bethany Blues can do barbeque... but also SO much more! We had a Mussels bar, a flank steak carving station and a pasta station! The options are endless! We are so happy we chose Bethany Blues !!!

Bethany Blues was the reason we got married in Delaware. The food is the best in the world and our guests kept coming up to our table all night to tell us how much they loved the food. We also had a s'mores bar and a nacho bar which was a hit.

Jessica and Kathy made our day perfect. They went above and beyond for us and we appreciate it so much. Jessica is always so happy and such a joy to work with. She made planning a wedding easy because she was on top of everything and was always on the same page as me. Our wedding day was everything I dreamed of and more thanks to Bethany Blues.

I am in love with Bethany Blues and so were the guests at my wedding! Bethany Blues was on the recommendation list offered by my reception venue. My, then, fiance and I knew that we wanted something delicious, but also something simple. We contacted Bethany Blues and from there we met Jessica who is literally the best person in the world. at the restaurant, my fiance and I were able to try all of the different meats and the sides that were available at the time (Jessica said we were welcome to come back any time to try whatever we wanted if we didn't get a chance to try it then). From there, there was open communication. I didn't need to make too many chances, but she assured me that I could change anything up until about a week from the actual wedding, sweet! Bethany Blues and Jessica were very accommodating as well, whether it was from vegetarian meals to using my drink dispensers instead of their's. The day of the wedding, Bethany Blues were there early and ready to be put to work. Jessica's team was willing to help with anything so as to make it less stressful for me. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it for a great price. My guests were able, and willing!, to go back for seconds. My guests, are still raving about how good the food was! I am just so pleased with Bethany Blues!!

Their food is awesome! Beyond that, Jessica Nathan from Bethany Blues made our day extraordinary!!! She acted as a wedding coordinator, gave advice on layout, table set up, amount of food, drinks, desserts. Went out of her way to help out with setting up dessert table, helping with cake cutting, and serving drinks (even though we used other vendors for these pieces of the wedding). We asked for a late night snack so her crew cleaned up and brought back out leftover sandwiches for guests once everyone had been dancing and drinking. Perfect caterer- SO thrilled with our choice. For food, we got quartered chicken, pulled pork, grilled veggies, corn bread, salad, and a few other sides. Everyone raved about how great it was!

We just booked Bethany's for our rehearsal dinner in June. What an amazing experience. Jessica made it all so fun and an easy process. The food is delicious. We got to sample all the meats they offer. The restaurant itself is so chi? and unique. The quality and quantity of the food/venue for the price was a blessing. Bethany Blue's is truly a hidden treasure tucked away on the coastal highway in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Don't be fooled by the "BBQ" word......this is BBQ with a luxury twist. So happy to have my rehearsal dinner hosted by them! Thank you guys! Can't wait!

"This is the best food we have ever had at a wedding", "There were so many people at your wedding that we never thought we would get any food, boy were we wrong. Bethany Blues had so many appetizer stations, passed hor dourves, and had everyone eating a meal in no time. We were so stuffed!" "That was the best Salmon and Mac & Cheese I have ever had". These are just a few of the awesome comments were heard from our guests after the wedding. When anyone talks to us about the wedding they always mention the food and are shocked to find out that Bethany Blues is a BBQ restaurant. Hiring this professional staff was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. They went above and beyond our expectations by arriving at the venue 3 hours early to help make sure everything was perfect, were attentive to our guests the entire evening, and even were the last to leave making sure everything was cleaned up so we wouldn't have much to do the next day. Thank you Bethany Blues for making our day so special. I keep hoping that when I attend weddings you guys are catering, because I know I am going to get one heck of a meal!!!!!

Stop your search here!! Jessica and her team were absolutely wonderful and remained so, under the incredibly stressful situation of having to move our venue three days prior to our wedding due to the Nor'ester that settled over the region, keeping a hurricane out to sea. Jessica literally became our right hand woman, when she voluntarily jumped right in started searching for an alternative venue, after our original canceled. Once a new site was secured, she worked closely with our rental company and new venue to keep things coordinated and organized, working all hours and outside the box to keep our vision as close to our original as possible. The weekend was complete chaos because of the weather and several other weddings/events that were also displaced, but Jess remained constantly in touch, responsive and she made us feel like our event was one she was creating for family, not strangers. I would not hesitate to use Bethany Blue's and Jessica's team again and I will definitely recommend them to anyone I hear of planning an event in the DE/MD coastal area. Inside or outside. GREAT JOB!! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!!

When we first started planning our wedding we knew that we wanted to have a good photographer and good food and by having Bethany Blues as our caterer we had the BEST food! I worked mostly with Jessica Nathan and she was so accommodating and incredibly sweet. Our wedding site was changed two times, and she was so easy going and went with the flow each time. Even on the day of the wedding, she was there! We did carving stations at our wedding with a few different meat choices, a seafood station (the crab cakes were out of this world) and then we also did a mashed potato bar. All of our guests raved about our food! We even had some to take home. I also loved that she had choices for the vegetarian guests and gluten free guests at our wedding. We will be using them in the future and I can't wait to eat at their restaurant anytime we are in the area!

We have nothing but positives for this fine establishment! Jessica and the crew at Bethany Blues were amazing to work with. From start to finish, planning our meal and day of set up/take down - these guys are the real deal! This doesn't even account for the delicious food they prepared for us.. our guests raved about how tasty the food was, and we loved the packaged leftovers to take home. We opted for their home-made fire pit for a s'more station and this was probably one of the most talked about items at our wedding. Thanks everyone at Bethany Blues who made our day so perfect!! AMAZING! FANTASTIC! WOULD DO IT AGAIN!!!!! Love this place, the staff, and the FOOD! The crab cakes were to die for and the crab dip was MAGNIFICENT! I cannot rave enough about the wings, platters, professionalism, and help these guys pitched-in on. Always made sure I had food and my new hubby had everything we needed. THE SMORES BAR WAS A HIT!!!!! This was one of the best parts of our wedding! People are still talking about how cool it was to have a smores bar! Everyone should have these guys! I cannot say enough about Bethany Blues or their banquet manager, Jessica Nathan. They helped to make our Bride and Groom's night nothing short of spectacular. The advance planning, attention to detail, and upbeat and helpful attitude that was provided by Jessica was so very helpful. She took the time to insure our event was bullet-proof. We have enjoyed rave reviews about this event from so many family and friends. The food and the service was fabulous and we are most indebted. When we returned to the Mansion/venue on the evening after the event, all was gone except for a zillion fireflies dancing across the front lawn. However, the memories of a beautiful bride, her handsome groom, family, friends, fantastic food, great fun, dancing, etc.... will live on in our hearts and minds forever. We cannot thank Bethany Blues or Jessica Nathan enough for the part they played in making this night an outstanding memory. We will never hesitate to call upon them again for future catering needs. Jessica was FANTASTIC in the coordination, tasting, logistical planning, and support throughout our entire wedding planning process. We couldn't have been happier with the selection of them as our caterer for our wedding. Courtney & the team was also phenomenal with day of coordination and the quality of the waitstaff was superb. I highly suggest using their catering services and you even get to keep you leftovers! Fantastic value and we were treated like royalty through the entire process. The food was delicious, as always, and we have had so many compliments on it as a highlight of the entire wedding.

hands down the BEST wedding food we (and our guests) have EVER had! Their BBQ is incredible, and all of the sides were so well prepared as well. It's amazing that we had this all set up on the beach without real access to electricity and it was STILL that good! Jessica was so insanely helpful throughout the entire process, and even had her staff assisting my coordinator with set up and tear down which was a big help! We will certainly be eating at their restaurants for years to come and would recommend their catering to ANYONE.

Jess and the team at Bethany Blues made all our wedding dreams come true! They were so easy to work with, and were able to customize things to make it work for us! For a very affordable price, our wedding was blessed with a wonderful buffet spread and servers. The food was tasty, and the commitment from the staff in terms of accommodating the venue and helping plan the setup was above and beyond. Tip: We highly recommend the S'mores Bar addon service. Bethany Blues did the catering for our rehearsal/welcome dinner of about 100 people. At times during the planning we were a little concerned with their responsiveness, however the service they provided at our event was outstanding. We wouldn't have changed a thing! They arrived on time, even helping us to set up our beverages (which we were providing ourselves and not paying them for). They did passed appetizers which turned out to be a great hit. Everyone was raving about the food all night! The clean up was perfect, like they were never even there (which was extra appreciated since we were using my parents house). Overall I would highly recommend Bethany Blues for catering services.
