Victorian Opulence, Convenience and Value are just a few reasons to host your next wedding or event at Belmont Mansion. Belmont Mansion is the perfect venue for a small, intimate elopement or large, elegant wedding.
Belmont Mansion is an Italianate villa constructed between the years 1849 and 1853. Through the years, it has been the summer home for Nashville socialite Adelicia Acklen and her family, temporary headquarters of the Union army, and an all-girls college and seminary. One of the most elaborate antebellum homes in the South, with 36 rooms and 19,000 square feet, the entire Belmont estate was built, furnished, and landscaped by the Acklens and boasted such luxuries as lavish gardens, an art gallery, a bowling alley, and a zoo.

Great experience for an excellent price!
Beautiful Victorian mansion at an unbeatable price! Definitely go on the historical tour before your big day. That's how we introduced the venue to our parents and we all appreciated knowing the history behind the home. We went with the ceremony package and were married there 11/9/2019, which was the last weekend before Christmas decorations went up. We were able to choose our own photographer (Rachel Fugate), officiant (Jim Palmer), florist (Garden Delights), and musicians (Nashville String Quartet). The venue is so regal that it needs very little as far as decorations. All we had were 3 floral arrangements (1 at the altar, and 2 on either side of the staircase). The venue is a little dark at night, so we opted for flash photography during the ceremony. Our photographer was worried it would be distracting, but the room is so big that I didn't even notice. The downstairs rooms in the mansion are open for viewing and photography. Although we could not sit on the furniture inside the staged side rooms, Rev. Rich was kind enough to let us move the ropes during photos. Also, Rev. Rich runs the venue and is an invaluable resource! His attention to detail is impeccable and we greatly appreciated his help ensuring our ceremony went smoothly.Sent on 11/12/2019

Last minute elopement
Brandon was absolutely wonderful with us. Went above and beyond to make our day special. Friendly and communication was amazing, text to confirm times and that we were comfortable with getting there. Such a professional, we are so happy we chose to have our wedding here.Sent on 07/28/2019

I had my dream wedding here! I eloped, and spent only $150, but it was priceless to me! I felt like a princess in the grand ballroom. The ornate mirrors, imperial staircase, gorgeous stained glass windows and cascading morning light were fit for royalty! My experience here was more than enough for me to award Belmont Mansion a 5 out of 5 stars. Rev. Brandon Rich was professional, allowed for me to have an extra guest without an extra charge and gave us a beautiful ceremony. I would not change a thing about my wedding at Belmont Mansion! It was perfection! I would recommend it to any couple looking for a fancy venue without the fancy price-tag!Sent on 03/26/2016

Belmont Mansion is a beautiful, historic mansion with a very professional team of staff members. It is always a pleasure to work at this location along with Brandon Rich as the coordinator!
Rev. Brandon Rich has been a delight to work with, whether at Belmont Mansion or any other venue. I have had the pleasure of attending a wedding that Brandon officiated and now I can honestly say, he was wonderful. If you are in need of an officiant at your wedding, Rev. Brandon Rich is one of our favorites to recommend! Bonnie, Belles Fleurs
