About
Beiger Mansion is an expansive mansion-style wedding venue located in Mishawaka, Indiana. A premier event destination such as this would work well for all nuptial celebrations. Owner Ron Montandon purchased the mansion from the Historical Society in 1989 and has worked with his partner Dennis Slade to restore the mansion to its original grandeur. Now, couples can become a part of this venue's history when they choose to say their "I do" here.
Facilities and Capacity
When stepping foot onto the property, couples and their guests will feel like they have stepped back in time. Opulence and refinement are present throughout the venue, from the decor to the service. There are multiple event spaces to utilize, including six rooms off the main floor, which can host anywhere from 80 to 100 people year-round. Soon-to-be-weds will find plush carpeting, intricate and detailed decor items, and period-specific touches when they explore the building. The facilities include manicured gardens, a swimming pool, overnight accommodations, and get-ready rooms.
Services Offered
Beiger Mansion is fully outfitted with staff members who are capable and ready to ensure that any event held here runs as smoothly as possible. The team can offer services such as floral design, table design, event planning, DJ, and bar services to the couple of honor. The culinary team onsite can offer a delicious menu that can be tailored to any specifications or dietary requirements. They can even take requests for specific dishes. Additionally, they can provide various event rental items, like tables, chairs, linens, lighting, a photo booth, and much more.
History
The Beiger Mansion venue has an illustrious history that spans over 100 years. Originally built by Martin Valentine and Susie Higgins Beiger in 1903, the building was planned by Jens Jenson, who also planned the Chicago city parks system. Martin did not live to see the complete mansion, but Susie continued to live there until she left it in her will, and it was transformed into The Beiger Home for the Elderly. In 1973, the local community rallied to get it registered on the National Register of Historic Places.
