I hired Becca for my Charlottesville wedding upon recommendation from my wedding planner, Cody Smith. From the first introductory call I had with Becca, I knew I was in good hands. She shot our engagement shoot, our rehearsal dinner, and our wedding day, and everything was absolutely stunning. She stands out in many ways, but I will give a few examples.

I am from Richmond, VA, and wanted to shoot my engagement photos at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. She was willing to drive to Richmond for just an our session, to a location she had not shot before, and did an incredible job. The area was very crowded the day of our shoot, and you would think that we were the only two people on the lawn when we received our final photos. They are pictures I will always cherish, and she made the day so fun for us.

Our wedding photos are equally if not more stunning. It was downpouring right after our ceremony, and she was cool, calm, and collected getting soaking wet just to get the perfect shot for us. While I was a little overwhelmed at the time, the photos we have outside in the rain are some of my favorites.

The best quality about Becca however, is her personality. You can tell she really cares about her brides and has a huge passion for her work. She was gentle, caring, and fun, and made us feel so comfortable on the day of our wedding. Her passion shines through in her photos - and I am so grateful she captured all of the joy and love that was present on our wedding day.

Becca was such a delight to work with from the very beginning. My husband and I had never done a professional photoshoot before, and when we met Becca on the day of our engagement shoot she immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We had so much fun during the photoshoot, and we couldn't wait to have Becca photograph our wedding day.
On the day of the wedding, Becca and her assistant were amazing. Pre-ceremony we were running a bit short on time, but she still made sure to capture the important photos, all while reassuring me that it would be just fine (it was!). The pictures from our wedding turned out absolutely stunning, we couldn't be happier. Becca and her assistant captured all of the major moments, as well as the small moments such as a sweet look exchanged between me and my sister when my dad was giving his speech. She is so kind and helps to make you comfortable even for those pictures that feel somewhat awkward. My wedding party made multiple comments to me about how wonderful both her and her assistant were. Going into wedding planning, I knew from the beginning that the photos were the most important part to me, and I am so happy I chose Becca. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

We could not be more pleased with using Becca for our summer wedding in Charleston, SC. Not only are her pictures absolutely stunning, but she is such a wonderful person we enjoyed working with. She made both my husband and I, as well as our family and friends, feel instantly comfortable in front of the camera and it shows through the pictures that capture our big day. Becca was so accommodating to work with as we navigated postponements and location changes due to COVID, and we can't say enough good things about her.

Becca was a true joy to work with!! We knew after the first time we chatted with her (as a get-to-know-you call), she was perfect for what we were looking for in a photographer! We could have been more happy and thrilled by her skills, experience, demeanor, and professionalism. She is incredibly warm and puts you at ease; she feels a part of the team instantly. She was so easy to work with throughout the process and tuned into what was important. We had a large wedding, with a variety of different cultures present; she was able to wrangle everyone with grace and got all the shots we needed.

We first met Becca for our engagement shoot out in the mountains. She had never done one out there but was willing to travel to our favorite spot, which meant so much to us. We were rained out the first time, although she still drove all the way up just in case the rain broke, and she made the time to try again the next weekend. All of this was unexpected and really contributed to a personalized and positive experience. We were anxious that it would be awkward to have someone pose us and give us that much attention but Becca made it feel like we had been friends for ages. Of course, we wouldn't want anyone else but her and her team for our wedding day so Becca and her second photographer (also amazing) worked their magic. We got SO many beautiful photos and everyone commented on how professional and friendly the team was. They never made anyone feel rushed or overly posed. It was the perfect combination of being "behind the scenes" and still getting "front row" shots.

We would definitely recommend Becca and her team to anyone who is looking for a top-notch photographer with high levels of professionalism and charisma. They somehow managed to slow down time and capture really sweet, personal moments during our very busy and chaotic day. Best choice ever!

When I got engaged, I knew that I wanted to invest in excellent photography. Becca did not disappoint. I still think my photographs are breathtaking. She captured so many great moments. My only regret is not booking her for longer in the day-- it would have been worth the price.

Becca took our engagement pictures, as well as photographed our wedding. Neither my husband nor myself have ever taken professional photos before, so you can imagine how awkward we were during the beginning of our engagement photos. Becca was fantastic! She had us laughing in no time and made us feel comfortable and at ease. She was able to help coach us on how to pose while also capturing the candid moments.

At our wedding Becca was amazing! She sort of was my shadow and by the end of the day I felt like we were age-old friends. Becca captured so many special, candid moments on our day.. I am forever grateful for her talent and ability. In addition to her talent, Becca is a great photographer because she is SO caring and compassionate. She genuinely cares about her brides and wants their day to be perfect. There were a few times throughout the day when I was getting a bit overwhelmed (severe thunderstorms out of no where causing you to call a last minute rain plan and 40 person family photos will do that to you), and Becca was able to pick up on it and make suggestions to help ease my nerves. She was really so much more than a photographer and went above and beyond for me on my wedding day. Thank you so so much Becca, you are amazing... and I miss you <3

Hiring Becca as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions my husband and I made during the planning process. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease - everyone in the wedding party kept commenting on how professional, personable and fun she was! Becca was able to capture everything we wanted throughout the day - the portrait pictures in the church and outside after the ceremony were beautiful and she knew just the right poses/images to capture. She also has the best sense of what to capture throughout the rest of the evening - from the venue photos of the room and the smallest little decor details, to the crazy fun dance floor moments, Becca captured everything so beautifully. We were thrilled when we got the photos back after the wedding, and I still look at them all the time to remember such an amazing day. With Becca it didn't feel like we hired a regular wedding photographer, her professionalism and friendly/easy-going nature made the day that much more special and memorable.

Hiring Becca as our wedding photographer was the best investment we made on our wedding day hands down!! Becca brought such a fun and upbeat vibe to our wedding day and breezed through all the little hiccups we had, handling everything like a true pro. She knows how to calm nerves, make you laugh (seriously, she is so funny), and hug you just when you need it all while secretly capturing every single detail, even moments/things we missed.
