One of my favorite salon & day spas in the city. This team always does the best work, whatever it is you might need.

Our wedding was in the Memorial area, so I made appointments for the bridal party at Beautique Town & Country. We had a morning ceremony, but Beautique was open early enough to allow time for hair and makeup. My mom and I stopped at La Madeleine prior to our appointments and picked up coffee, croissants, and fruit for everyone to enjoy while at Beautique.
Kristen did my hair and Maria did my makeup. Both were very professional and nice. I had a trial run about one month prior to the wedding (before my bridal portrait session), and that was essential because it helped me decide what hairstyle to use. After looking through bridal magazines, I had selected several updos to try. As it turned out, those were not the most flattering for me. The trial run allowed me to experiment and find the best style.
On the wedding day, both my hair and makeup appointments went smoothly. I was very nervous, but Maria in particular was a calming presence. Maria also did my mom’s hair, which looked great. All of my bridesmaids’ hairstyles were flattering, and our hair and makeup held up through the wedding, reception, and photos. One last tip: I brought my own foundation to use so that I didn't need to worry about finding a shade that complemented my skin tone and didn't look orange. I also brought my own lipstick, which I could then keep with me to reapply throughout the day.

Randi at the Rice Village location did my hair and makeup. She did an awesomely fantastic job on both. My up-do looked phenomenal and stayed put all night, even when I was dancing like a maniac. As a person who doesn't wear any makeup, I thought Randi did a fantastic job. I looked very classic and beautiful without feeling "made-up." The pictures look fantastic. My bridal party had their make-up and hair done and they all looked great. Beautique is a great place and had enough space to accommodate all of us.

Mandy did my hair and Anne did my makeup. Both were excellent and I would recommend them to anyone. Beautique was recommended to me from another bride and the overall experience was great. They have a private room upstairs that we were able to use for breakfast and mimosas.

This is a wonderful place to go! They did my hair, makeup, toes and nails. It was a relaxing experience. You can even go in before for a trial run on the colors and hair styles so you know what it will look like before your big day. The did my brides maids as well. We actually were finished early and that is important on such a day when you need all the time you can get. Be prepared to spend a little extra, but it is worth every penny and the end results are BREATH TAKING!!!

I was overall pleased with how everything turned out. It was me and my maid of honor & one bridesmaid. We all got our hair done, two of us had makeup & nails done, & I also had a pedicure. The makeup artist did a superb job, as well as the hair and nails ladies. I did not think my hair-do should have been $80, especially since all she did was tease the top to add lift & pull my long hair into a low side ponytail. It wasn't even an updo, and I had originally planned on doing it myself, that's how easy the style was. Also, when we paid out, both me & my bridesmaid were charged for a brow shaping & waxing ($20 each!), which neither of us even ASKED for, nor did we receive. I didn't realize this till almost a week later, when I was going through my wallet & checking receipts. That really upset me. The last thing a bride needs to have to worry about on her wedding day is something like being overcharged or having to worry about checking a receipt. If it hadn't been for that, I would have been content with even the hair cost. But not now. That REALLY Pi**ed me off. But otherwise, it's your typical upscale salon, not a place you normally would go for personal attention, but the hairdresser was a doll to talk with.

Ali did my hair for the wedding. She did a great job. She was super fast and responsive to my requests. They are quite pricie, but it was worth it for the wedding day.
