Dave is a one man show. He worked up quite a sweat taking photos at our wedding. He gave us a flat fee for the entire day (from 10:00am in the salon through to 11:00pm at the reception!). He gave us a DVD of the digital prints with the rights to use them. And the photos are certainly good quality. He does both photo-journalism and formal shots. He might not be the best photographer in Chicago, but he works extremely hard (including that he's still working with me several months out from the wedding to touch up photos and get prints), will give you a good deal, and in generally peasant to work with.

My only regret is that I didn't ask for an assistant too (and he can give you one if you ask)... setting up the formal shots took A LOT longer than I was anticipating because he was alone, and he missed a few people (but I didn't give him a list to check off at the reception), but he was only one man and couldn't be everywhere at once... I think any one-man show would have these short comings.
