Everything was perfect! The staff was very helpful and attentive.

My husband and i just recently had our reception there. It turned out amazing. Megan is the planning coordinator there and she did a wonderful job. She was very accommodating and very easy to work with, especially when I had to rely on her for everything since I live about 90 mins from the venue.
I didn't need to worry about anything the day of my wedding because Megan had it handled. And if I made any last minute changes, Megan took care of it without even batting an eye. She was a pleasure to work with.
My only issue that I had was one of our plated dinners that we selected for our wedding tasted completely different than what we experienced at our taste testing. Honestly, completely lacked any flavor and it was very fatty. And the salad that was included in our plated dinner options was very tiny. I wish it would have a little bit bigger.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Bay Valley Resort for your wedding venue. The ballroom is beautiful. The surrounding grounds is beautiful. And Megan made everything seamless and helped me put on the wedding reception of my dreams.

I found this venue to be a little pricey - but with good reason. The food was probably the best food I've ever had in my life. The staff was very kind and accommodating from the planning process through the day of the event. Probably my only regret is that we did not request privacy for our rehearsal, so there were people kind of gawking during our rehearsal. No issues day of the wedding though. Beautiful setting.

We had our reception at Bay Valley Hotel and resort. Our food selections were wonderful, the staff was very professional and pleasant. The room was very clean and set up to our specifications. The overall atmosphere was wonderful. The guests that stayed in our room blocks commented on the wonderful comfort and experience. This venue is a wonderful value.

My wedding was in between one event coordinator leaving and a new one starting. There was quite a bit of miscommunication, questions left unanswered and wrong prices given for certain things. I am a little disappointed in a few circumstances but am understanding that turnover happens. My disappointment mainly lied with how I didn't feel like a high priority for the business I was bringing.
On another note the food was outstanding!!!! All my guests raved about the food. The food choices were off the lowest priced menu so that goes to show the head chef and kitchen take pride in all things that they serve!!!
The staff was very helpful during setup time! I was very thankful for them listening to my wants and the acted fast to make things happen!

Being a current bride myself I only lead you with a few pieces of info to better help your experience.
1-Be very organized for yourself, for they are not. They say they are but forget very valuable details.
2-Make sure you know all SPECIFICATIONS! Do's and Don'ts.
3-You must provide your own person/s for all misshaps the day of your event for your own sanity. This is so you do not have to deal with anything.
This is you only day for really yourselves and know one or anything should be a problem. Enjoy because it goes by to fast.

We had our wedding there this past september, it was a beautiful day and bay valley is a wonderful place for a wedding. only two things went wrong- the weekend of the wedding they had an infestation outside of bees/hornets,which i am deathly afraid of, i had a couple go in my dress which was horrifying, although theres nothing really they could have done about that so i didnt complain about that until now, the other was the person who we had taste tested with was NOT the person who was the chef at our wedding, and that REALLY REALLY made a HUGE difference. we bought the most expensive plate on the plated dinner menu, Grilled Tuna Steak with a delicious fruity salsa, but when it came to the day of the wedding, we received DRY, BAKED, tuna steak with fruit on top...they gave us $2.00 a plate off of that for their mistake, i still feel as though they should have given us at least half of the price of the plate since it was NOT AT ALL the food we wanted, and i even had a few guests ask to be served the chicken instead because it was so dry. so be careful who your chef is.
