I had previously used Barnes Photography and we knew that he also had to be our photographer for our wedding. Thank you to Doug and his wife/second shooter Lauren for capturing our wedding day, we will cherish these photos forever. Doug and Lauren work so well together that you would think they are one, they were there to capture all the important shots and were able to capture the entire atmosphere of the wedding through their photos. Some of our favorite photos were the candid ones where we had no idea one of them was paying attention. Their attention to detail was spot on. We would recommend Barnes Photography to anyone looking for professional photos, weddings or any other type of photo shoot. THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!

I will 100% be using Barnes Photography in the future. Both Doug and Lauren were so fun to work with! My husband and I are not picture people so we were really worried about engagement and wedding photos but they made it fun and relaxed and pictures came out great!! He was fast to get the pictures back to me which was great! I could just go on and on about how happy I am with them!!

Doug did our wedding and our engagement pictures. He is very professional and loves what he does. Our engagement photo shoot was incredible, he knew exactly where to go and what time to get the best light and the best view. At our wedding, Doug, was incredible. He was able to capture moments that we would have never seen. We are now able to look back and enjoy our day all over again just by looking at all he has captured with his cameras. All work aside, Doug is also wonderful to work with. We highly recommend Barnes Photography.

Doug was absolutely amazing! He was so responsive and easy to work with. After he did our engagement photos, we were so excited to have him take pictures of our wedding. He showed up early and got right to work without us having to say anything at all. He and his wife were a great team and my entire bridal party truly enjoyed having them there. They were so fun and helped relax this jittery bride as we all got ready. They were so great during our ceremony, capturing some great pictures without being intrusive in any way. Some guests commented that they didn't even notice them because they were so considerate of them as they worked. They were so easy and laid back that it was like having two friends take our pictures. Anybody who's looking for a stress-free experience, Doug is definitely the way to go. He exceeded any expectations we had and were so thrilled to work with him on our big day!

Doug is an AMAZING photographer, incredibly talented, dedicated, and just a all around nice guy. you can tell he loves being a photographer and it shines through! My sister-in-law is a professionally trained photographer who had her own photography business. she could not take the pictures for the wedding because she was one of my bridesmaids. she helped pick the photographer, though. We looked at the work of about 5-7 photographers within a modest price range (Doug actually was the least expensive!) and out of all of them she picked Doug. She said he, by far, had the best portraits and liked his style the best. And looking at my pictures from wedding, Doug did not disappoint. I admit that I am very comfortable in front of cameras but my husband hates taking pictures. Notwithstanding that, Doug took the most breathtaking pictures of us I've ever seen! and I've never felt more beautiful! and that is exactly how a bride should feel on her wedding day! In terms of value, you can't find better!! Doug is relatively inexpensive already (book him before he gets too busy!) but he also insisted on doing an engagement shoot as part of the package. His express objective was to get to know us as a couple so that we could get comfortable with him before the big day. this is extremely important, especially for those who have had little experience or who are uncomfortable in front of the camera. As I mentioned, my husband is one of those people and it made such a big difference to him on our wedding day that he was already comfortable with Doug. Doug is also so amiable and easy to get along with. My husband HATES taking pictures but Doug put him at ease and got all these great shots so quickly, it was nice and painless for my husband! Doug is SO dedicated and trustworthy. He was recovering from a broken ankle and he still stayed ENTIRE day (someone saw him limping home at the end, although he hid that from me). I wish I had more room here to praise Doug!

Doug was fabulous to work with! He was very down to earth, friendly with the guests (who all commented how nice he was), and the pictures were above what we expected. We would recommend Doug to anyone looking for a photographer in a heartbeat! Carol & Carl, Barre, VT

We had Doug do our egagement photo shoot, and also our wedding photos which was on September 17, 2016. Doug was extremely easy to work with, answered my crazy questions. He was also very professional. HIs pricesprices are also reasonable. My husband and I aren't very photogenic but Doug made it fun and exciting. Doug's wife Lauren also helped on out wedding day, she also was very professional. Our photos came out amazing, and he captured so many moments. On the plus side, we got our wedding photos very quickly!! I highly recommended Doug Barnes Photography!

Doug was AMAZING with our engagement session and our entire wedding! He truly has great talent and knows his equipment well. He was truly wonderful at our wedding and got every moment we wanted plus many more! He didn't skip a beat with some of the pictures I wanted to grt and is overall a fantastic photographer. We couldn't have found a better photographer for our wedding, he will surely be used for future family sessions and more!!

Doug took a free engagement shoot to meet us beforehand, which was something he really did not have to do. They were amazing. We are very impressed with him. Very down to earth, and listened to our needs, and what we specifically wanted. He even made his own game-time decision when I confused everyone about where to go after the ceremony! He took all the important pics and beyond! While we were busy he was going around taking pictures of guests, and my decorations. We are very pleased!! Would definitely recommend and hire again. :)
