Bakery 1818 first grabbed our attention because of its price, but that was only the beginning of what we wound up loving about this venue. The historical building is as gorgeous in person as it looks in pictures and added so much to the look of our wedding. The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions promptly and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable on the big day. From keeping our favorite beverages cold while we got ready to bringing us snacks during our cocktail hour, they nailed every detail. As an LGBTQ couple, we felt seen and supported. They were even flexible to schedule changes the day of the event and helped make our wedding day perfect.

This was the perfect place for us❤️ The venue is absolutely beautiful, and the staff are all wonderful.

Bakery 1818 is the absolute PERFECT wedding venue EVER!!! I give them 5-stars on everything: price, getting ready space for the bridal party, reception/ceremony/bar area, food, photography, DJ, and the list goes on and on. Krystle, the owner of the venue, is INCREDIBLE!!! She responded to every single one of my emails within just a few hours or even minutes. She was so helpful, patient, thoughtful, organized, kind, and supportive. She was the absolute best wedding coordinator/planner we could've asked for and her help made it so we could host this huge event, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. We implemented COVID-19 precautions (like masks, COVID-19 tests, etc.) to ensure everybody stayed safe and sound. The wedding went off without a single hitch and the staff members are amazingly helpful!! I didn't stress about anything on the day because I knew everyone at the venue would be there to handle all the complicated parts of the event. I can't thank Krystle and her team enough. She gave us the perfect wedding and the magical memories will last forever :) :)

I loved getting married at the bakery. My new last name is Baker, so it was more than easy to pull of a whole Bakery-themed wedding.
All of the staff we interacted with was great and extremely accommodating. They make the planning process easy with their preferred vendor list and a la carte style.
However, the issues we did have throughout the day did all stem from the vendors we chose. That’s the only negative thing I have to say, which isn’t the fault of 1818. Krystle is absolutely amazing! They made our cake and cupcakes too, which were so delicious.

Krystle and her staff are awesome! Krystle was easy to work with, responded quickly to any questions we had, and kept in touch with us throughout the planning process to keep us on track. The staff was very attentive, professional, hard working, and accommodating with the wedding party as well as our guests. The venue is absolutely beautiful, clean, and spacious. The bride and groom were able to relax and enjoy their day, because everything was so well orchestrated. Awesome venue! Awesome staff!

We had our wedding here in January 2021 and it was the perfect space for our special day. We wanted a venue that was inviting, historic, and still within driving distance for most guests. This small-town venue in downtown Madison was perfect for us (since many of our guests were coming from the GSO area). The space can be transformed in so many ways - it's extremely versatile and is filled with character. A few of our favorite things about this space are: the chalkboard you can use to welcome guests to your wedding, the bar area that makes for some really fun photos, and the bridal quarters with plenty of space even for brides with a dozen bridesmaids (I only had four and we had a TON of room!).

Krystle was absolutely wonderful about answering any questions that we had and assisting us in any way she could. This was extremely valuable as COVID-19 restrictions evolved and changed. She's very responsive, so there's no need to worry about waiting days for someone to get back to you. She also made our wedding cake (Bake Me Happy), which was the best-tasting cake I've ever had at a wedding.

I definitely feel that we made the best choice in picking Bakery 1818 for our wedding venue!

Krystle and her team at Bakery 1818 did EVERYTHING in their power to make my day perfect! They helped me feel completely relieved of all the "background" things so that I could focus on the main parts of my ceremony! The thing I loved the most is the beauty and simplicity of the venue itself as well as the simplicity of the staff there at the bakery! Even though there were people working in the background, they actually were never caught on camera or even in the way of anything! They were always there at the right times! They were also very good at not hovering too much when asking for requests from myself or family members! They were very eager to listen and do what was being asked! This helped make our day extremely special and extremely easy!

The team at Bakery 1818 are on top of it! They know what they need to do and do everything they can to make sure the bride is happy and that her needs/wants are met. The table and guest service was very professional and I would highly recommend the team here at Bakery 1818 to anyone looking for an affordable, accommodating, and professional venue.
