Our wedding cake and dessert bar made by Baker Street Bakery was absolutely delicious! They were very accommodating and made many different beautiful desserts for our guests to enjoy. We felt like the prices were very reasonable and their wedding coordinator, Stephanie, was very helpful. Everyone loved all of our dessert offerings! The only downside was that they don't set up the desserts or offer cake stands/plates, but our venue took care of that for us!

This was the perfect wedding cake experience for us! We chose it because it was a great balance between sweet (that I love) and not-so-sweet (that my hubby loves). Cheryl was a pleasure to work with, and helped us find the perfect design and flavors. The cake was gorgeous, and SOOOO delicious!!! We got so many compliments on the cake. I love cake so much, and couldn't have asked for a more perfect one on my wedding day!

James and I were married on February 17, 2012.

We had tried many bakeries that we located from my bridal books. But after a few months of sampling wedding cake tastings, we were a little discouraged that we hadn't tasted anything that said "this is IT".

That was when we "stumbled" upon Baker Street Bakery. One afternoon I thumbed through our local Yellow Pages, and since Baker Street was close, I set up an appointment for a cake tasting. We had never heard of them before.

I was put in touch with Ryan Reese. Ryan gave us a 4-cupcake sampling to take home. The presentation of the cupcakes was enough to make my mouth water, but I waited until James got home from work that evening so we could try them together.

We didn't even get through the first cupcake, when James and I looked at each other and knew that THIS WAS THE PLACE!! Of course we ate ALL the cupcakes in one sitting, and the next day we were on the phone with Ryan, setting up an appointment to formalize our wedding cake details.

Ryan was super-detailed, and very professional. We already knew what we wanted (three separate tiers making up a high wedding cake; the patterned frosting the color of my wedding gown, which was champagne; each tier a different flavor, and separated by homemade wreaths of silk flowers; with our wedding cake topper on the very top).

Ryan even went the extra mile by baking us an additional cupcake sampling when we were undecided about one of the tier flavors.

The cake consistency was PERFECT, the icing was not overly sweet, and the fillings - oh, the fillings! We settled on three flavors: Tier One was Almond, Tier Two was Lemon, and Tier Three was Chocolate and Raspberry. For the Lemon filling, Ryan did a layer of Lemon Curd and a layer on top of that with Lemon Buttercream. For he did the same for our chocolate and raspberry. There was little layers of filling per tier, so each slice has multiple layers of the yummy fillings.

Our wedding cake was everything we envisioned.

I also asked Ryan to make James' Grooms Cake, which was a sports' themed cake decorated for The NY Mets. Without much detail on my end, Ryan created a superb Cannoli Cake which sat right next to our wedding cake!

We suggested to Baker Street that they advertise more for their wedding cakes! :)

And, everyone enjoyed our wedding cake so much that we also asked Ryan recently to take care of my Mom's 74th and my Dad's 81st birthday cakes. We were NOT disappointed!

We would recommend Baker Street Bakery to anyone for wedding cakes, and any other tasty sweet treat!
