Our team leader Chef Danielle Kazemzadeh hails from the East Coast and was trained by master chefs from the premier catering company in Washington D.C., Design Cuisine. While with Design, our chef had the opportunity work on parties with venues ranging from Foreign Embassies, The Library of Congress, The National Gallery of Art, The White House, and in the personal homes foreign dignitaries and leaders of industries. Time was also spent honing her skills at the newly opened Ritz Carlton Washington D.C. banquet kitchens. During her time there, she had the opportunity to work on lavish weddings, corporate retreats and political events where she pleasure to cook for former Presidents and Heads of State. Great food, great people
Back East bbq was so fun to work with. Communication was really easy, and when it came down to it, damn! The food was awesome! We received a lot of compliments on the food, and my cousin is wanting to hire them for her wedding. Their Brisket was wonderful, as were the hush puppies and mac and cheese. Back East BBQ was so good! We met with Ryan in January of 2018, about 6 months before our wedding. Ryan and Danielle set up their truck at Stones Throw Brewing in Fairhaven. They had prepared for us a sample plate of food which included brisket, jerked chicken, mac & cheese, potato salad, corn & bean salad, green salad, and some hush puppies. ALL WAS AMAZING. The day of the wedding, EVERYONE was raving about how great the food was. I heard many people say this was the best wedding food they’d ever had. All of the food items were so heavenly. They set up a buffet for us and provided their own bowls for all the food. When they were done, they neatly packaged all the left overs for us and placed them in the venues refrigerator. They were in and out before I even knew it! Very quiet, professional, and kind. We feel very lucky to have had them serve at our wedding.
