Jill and Emme knocked it out of the park with their floral arrangements for our wedding in Scottsdale in March. We asked for bright, happy, springtime colors and they exceeded all of our expectations. We felt like we got a great deal for the price, and received endless compliments about how gorgeous the flowers were. Would recommend to anyone!

I will start by saying, quality costs money and that’s just the unfortunate truth when it comes to decorating for a wedding.

I will also say, I was extremely chaotic as a bride to be and needed a lot of patience and direction from my vendors. I was very indecisive and changed plans multiple times leading up to the big day.

Jill was amazing. She hurt my feelings but she was amazing! Haha! She was very blunt and honest, and did not hold back. I’ll never forget bringing in my hand made fake flower arrangements (I had no business making them as I had never done it before) and she very bluntly explained they should not be within reach of guests as they looked blatantly fake. Jill was right though, and she genuinely wanted my big day to be the best of the best as she was representing her company with the other decor used. I respect that!

Jill and Emme were so responsive to me and worked with me despite how difficult I was. They had to break things down and explain like was was 5 years old.

On the big day I was left speechless. To this day I have no idea how they pulled it all together in the time frame given but they did fantastic. I’ll never forget the first look before the ceremony and before the reception. Everything was just perfect. I was so happy, and I will always be grateful for their team!

If you want gentle people who will lie to you to bring comfort, don’t go with this company! If you want quality, exceptional service, and honesty, this is the decorating team for you. Just be prepared for the cost of materials as this was something I felt unprepared for. This is not unique to them though, it’s across the wedding industry in general!

We hired Avant-Garde to provide flowers and centerpieces for my daughter's wedding ceremonies at both a church and then the next day at McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale. Jill and Emme were fabulous to work with. They executed the designs just as we had discussed, and the resulting quality and beauty of the flowers and centerpieces were of the highest quality. We can't thank them enough for handling all the details to our desired specifications and the outcome was phenomenal! We highly recommend Avant-Garde if you want professional support and beautiful florals at your wedding!

Veronica Novak and her magical team of designers truly brought the “Wow Factor” to our wedding day. The floral design, the tablescapes, the custom ceremony triple-hoop, and a custom hoop for our “floating cake” were just jaw-droppingly beautiful. I appreciated how receptive she was while listening to our ideas and requests. Veronica helped me to feel heard throughout the whole consultation process, and she balanced being respectful of my budget while continuously providing recommendations to stretch my resources as much as possible.

This team has an amazing eye for details and quality. They are also extremely talented and can create custom pieces that made our Pinterest dreams a reality. I look forward to many more opportunities to work with them!!

Miguel and I were married at the Tempe Center for the Arts. We hired Jill at Avant Guarde to stage the wedding and provide florals. As a designer I had a strong vision of my wedding. Jill was the best person I could find for our needs.
She was creative, organized, had a warehouse full of amazing design elements, and a warm and hard working team
to execute on time. I designed a black wedding, on a Saturday night, as a party for our friends. I wanted a spectacular
experience for my friends that amazed and entertained them. Jill and her team provided and coordated all of the design
elements. The staging, rentals, lighting, candles and glowing orbs were all from Avant-Garde. And then there were the flowers, a a man and a designer I wanted something that fit my vision. Jill created the most stunning tablescapes ever.
Tropical and spring flowers were mixed with succulents in glass vases on multiple levels. When it was layered with food,
My guest were impressed. Our friends tell us we had the best wedding they ever attended. Jill and her team were the
reason it looked so amazing. Her team made the experience for us pleasurable and memorable. What more can you ask for? You should hire them! I’m so glad I did!

Working with Jill at Avant Garde was such an amazing experience! From the very start, Jill was SO sweet, patient, and creative, and a wonderful listener as I described my vision for my wedding day. The flowers and little details were one of the parts of my wedding I was most excited for. As this was a destination wedding for me, I was unable to come into the studio and see any of the textiles that the studio uses. Jill instantly picked up on my vision, and after some tweaking, her team absolutely blew me away. I was almost in tears when my flowers arrived. They were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen! My bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets were absolutely spectacular and far beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Thank you so so much for being so patient, and making my wedding so memorable for me!

Jill and the team at Avant Garde did an absolute wonderful job on the flowers for our wedding. We absolutely loved the way they incorporated the requested agave into the elegant and beautiful arrangements. Everyone talked all night about how great a job they did. Can’t say thanks enough! From the boutonnières, to the corsages, to the mantle and table…it was all stunning and exactly like we requested and envisioned. I would highly recommend them to anyone. :)
