You may know Atlanta Marriott Marquis as Atlanta, Georgia’s preeminent corporate event venue – perhaps you’ve been here for a gala, a fundraiser, or a conference. As the largest hotel in Georgia, we know a thing or two about hosting memorable and flawless events. We have a team of experienced professionals and a contact list full of the most trusted vendors in the city ready to see your wedding vision through to reality.

We specialize in large-scale weddings - both traditional and international - offering flexible catering options for both. Our three distinct ballrooms each offer stunning backdrops for the ceremony and/or reception you envision. All require a minimum spend for booking.

  • Imperial Ballroom is our most popular wedding venue, featuring a beautiful wooden wall as well as crystal chandeliers. It can accommodate up to 1,060 for a reception
  • Marquis Ballroom showcases sparkling lights and 18-foot-tall ceilings, accommodating up to 1,780 for a reception
  • Atrium Ballroom is our largest – holding up to 2,000 for a seated reception. This show-stopper space has 30-foot-tall ceilings and floor to ceiling windows.

For smaller weddings, we have a variety of rooms to accommodate more intimate affairs.

The absolute best wedding hotel venue there ever was

I cannot say enough good things about the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. I began the venue search pre-COVID, and honestly I was hesitant to have my wedding at the Marquis because there were not many wedding reviews. Eventually, we decided to go for it because of how stunning the ballroom was, and this turned into easily the best wedding-planning decision we made. Hotels have understandably gone through many changes during this season, and we ended up working with a few people along the way. However, every single one of them felt like a friend by the end, and they each went above and beyond every expectation I had of a venue. We looked at close to 20 venues. The Marquis offered an unbeatable package and prices, a gorgeous ballroom, flexibility from start to finish, and an absolutely unmatched Director of Event Planning (Curlyncia) and team. Planning a wedding is not easy, and planning a wedding during COVID was almost impossible. The staff made us feel important and safe, and they were on our side the whole time. They bent over backwards to make sure that our every need and request was met; There was truly nothing I asked for that they were not willing to accommodate. They even made the dreaded thought of possibly postponing the wedding not so bad, but luckily we didn’t have to go that route. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. If you are so much as considering a site visit, please please please go for it. You won’t regret it.

Our wedding weekend at the Marriott Marquis was wonderful! The guest rooms, staff, food and service were exceptional. Also, the Presidential/Honeymoon suite was spectacular, going above and beyond our wildest expectations!! I want to personally thank the Marquis for providing a truly memorable experience we will never forget.
