I would HANDS DOWN and without any hesitation be using Astrid for everything in my life that requires me to be be.YOU.tified! We did our test trial the day of my wedding shower/bachelorette and it was perfect so there was absolutely no hesitation come the day of the wedding and she made sure that all of her products were gluten-free for me so I wouldn't have an allergic reaction! I have never felt as beautiful and confident as I did for the days that she helped enhance my features. Astrid is the one and only make-up artist I have ever gone to. It was such an honor having her do my wedding makeup, I felt like a total princess. "HOT" was the one word my husband used to describe me when I texted him a picture of me after the bridal preview session. She is a total professional and also a very nice person. She explained to me the pro's and con's of using different types of makeup (airbrush vs. traditional) and answered all my questions. I have skin pigmentations which usually show through my makeup, but she was able to hide them without looking heavy. The makeup lasted throughout the entire day, not even one single touchup was necessary. I will recommend her to anyone that wants perfection. You will love how great you look!

Astrid is not only a very skilled professional, but she is also very approachable and is open to feedback as well. It is obviously important to her that you love the way you look on your special day! I actually hired her without a trial session based on her good reviews, and I couldn't have been happier with the results! She does an absolutely amazing version of "you," so that you do not end up looking like someone else. My bridesmaids also had their makeup done by her as well, and they looked gorgeous! It was such a stress-free, enjoyable experience on a busy day. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Astrid did my wedding makeup and the pictures came out beautiful. Her hands worked their magic as she smoothed all my imperfections. She made me look 10 years younger, we did a renual of our vows for our silver wedding anniversary. I highly recommend her!

I got married on July 23rd at Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes. Astrid was referred to me by another makeup artist who was not available at the time. I was a little apprehensive about working with someone I didn't know, so we scheduled a trial.

Before I review Astrid's work, I have to add that I am EXTREMELY picky with my makeup. I have tried Mac and other makeup artists-even my cousin who is the makeup artist for "American Idol", and I have never liked how they've done my makeup. I was very worried about how I will look on my wedding day.

Astrid's work is absolutely amazing. She showed up at my hotel early, was extremely patient, sweet, fun and very professional. She patiently waited until my hair was done and then started working on me. The coverage she provided was none to other. I danced all night long and my makeup didn't even move nor did my face get shiny.

Every single person commented how beautiful my makeup was and that they had never seen me look more radiant. I have problem skin but my skin looked absolutely flawless. My eyes and lashes looked stunning and it lasted the ENTIRE day. At 11PM my makeup looked like she had just applied it. Amazing!

We used airbrush during the trial and I felt it didn't give me enough coverage, so we used regular long-lasting foundation for the wedding which she topped off with some other stuff and my skin looked flawless & stayed flawless.

When my cousin, sister and mom saw my transformation, they immediately opted to get their makeup done as well. Astrid was very accomodating at their last minute requests and all 3 of them looked fabulous. My mom is even pickier than me and she LOVED her makeup.

I would recommend her with full confidence. Her prices are very competitive and she was also very flexible with changes in the schedule, makeup requests and responded to every email promptly. Thank you Astrid for making me look like a dazzling bride!
