I'm very disappointed with the service from Ashton. On my wedding day, she arrived 15 minutes later than the contracted time and she forgot to take a lot of the pictures I had previously told her I wanted taken. As a bride, you don't have the focus to think of these details because you are so caught up in the ceremony and reception, feeling excited and overwhelmed. That's why at the meeting a few months before, Ashton and I made a list of photos I wanted taken. I am disappointed that she didn't double check our list to make sure she completed her job. During the photo session after the ceremony, there was no direction. She had no plan and was just dragging my husband and I around trying to find a good picture. She didn't give me a sense that she was a professional photographer with experience, but rather more of a young beginner practicing photography. She was flexible in the fact that I needed her to stay an extra hour and she did. After the wedding day I was left unconfident and a bit worried. Ashton told me that I would receive the finished photos no later than 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, I had to wait 5 weeks before I saw even a hint album on her facebook fan page. I'm still waiting on the photos on the CD in the mail. From the photos she posted on her fan page, I'm not very anxious to receive the photo CD. Some of them are so edited that my body looks distorted. Most are out of focus and the ceremony photos are difficult to differentiate from pictures my family took. I've kindly emailed her with my concern but I got a less then friendly and slightly annoyed response. I am not very pleased to say that her customer after care is terrible. She proudly claims to be feisty, and that she definitely is. Overall, I am not recommending Ashton Elizabeth photography to anyone and I don't think her product is worth the money.
