Ashley was the BEST! We knew from our first phone call with her that she had to be our wedding photographer! We had our engagement photos done with her and she instantly made us feel comfortable and got the most AMAZING candid and fun shots of me and my husband! Ashley was beyond understanding and easy to work with when we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID. She has a distinct talent for capturing the special and intimate moments on your wedding day. In addition to her obvious talent, her personable and sweet nature is really what makes her stand out. I can not say enough amazing things about her!

Ashley was so great to work with! She really captured the fun that we had at our wedding, and she was so organized with all of the many family pictures we wanted to take. I'm not the most creative person, so her taking the reigns for posing the bridal party and the couples pictures was amazing. And, she really does get on the dance floor!! Do yourself a favor and book Ashley. I can't even express how awesome of person she is and how amazing her work is. We used her for our engagement pictures as well as wedding and because our engagement pictures were so on point.. one of my friends used her for their baby pictures. My fiancé hates pictures and she did such a great job with getting him to open up and getting candid shots.. not posed shots. Yes she will give you some posed ones, but let me tell you.. she is able to open people up and can capture people's true love and personalities through her pictures. I even got compliments from my bridesmaids about how Ashley just fit right in and made us all laugh and feel so comfortable with her. throughout the day. She pays attention to detail and catches all the "in the moment" pictures and even gets pictures you never thought you wanted. She is very organized, flexible, and makes sure the day of your wedding if there is anything specific you want (family pictures, etc) so nothing is missed. I plan on using Ashley any time I need a photographer. I highly, highly recommend Ashley! Pictures are one of only things you can look back on your day and I can't wait to look back at our wedding pictures for years to come!

Ashley could not have been any more perfect for our small CO mountain wedding. Not only was she more flexible than a rubber band as I changed the guest list from 2 to 80 to 7, but she was an incredible support system for us as we woke up on our early September wedding day to a foot and a half of snow. She was extremely personable and made everyone feel completely at ease the entire day. My mom thought we were old friends from college! She responded to all my lengthy emails with lots of patience, details, and extra tips on how to have the perfect day. My partner and I are not very mushy people, so we were a bit worried about how we would handle taking intimate photos and we were so smiley in all the photos and I know it had everything to do with how comfortable Ashley made us feel. The photos came back to us in record time and we were in tears at the first image.  I would recommend Ashley over and over and over again! THANK YOU, ASHLEY!

It's taken me awhile to sit down and write this review of Ashley - I think I've struggled because it's not easy to put into words how grateful we are for her and everything she did to help make our day absolutely amazing and I'm sure this review still won't do her justice.

When we first reached out to Ashley I knew we were on the right track and didn't even consider another option. We explained to her the situation we were in and she went over and beyond her photographer duties by helping find venue options as we were planning to do an out of state micro-wedding. She helped us navigate vendors and areas of Colorado to consider that we were not as familiar with as we're located in Nebraska. We also had the chance to do some engagement photos with her – she braved what I think may have been the coldest day of the year for us and still agreed to shoot the wedding after it all! :)

Ashley was so sweet and comforting as we were faced with COVID-19 challenges and helped make date and location changes so smooth. As our new date approached she continued to offer advice and support. Ashley has an incredibly simple questionnaire that we filled out about a week prior to the wedding that highlighted important people and moments that we wanted her to be aware of – this saved us day of so she wasn’t trying to figure out who was who and she always knew where to be without having to ask.

Day of the wedding, Ashley arrived and brought the calm we all needed as family and friends were running around making last minute moves due to weather changes. She truly slipped right in and I didn’t even notice her arrival – she was already shooting special moments with my maid of honor as we were getting ready and I didn’t even realize it. My husband and his friends are so uninterested in having their photos taken, but she made them all so comfortable and put up with their antics along the way. Later in the evening we were faced with a minor hiccup with the venue and Ashley stepped in so professionally to remind us that she was there for us and we were her main focus – allowing us to continue enjoying our evening.

Ashley blessed us with one of the most amazing gifts, all of the most amazing moments we would never want to forget captured forever. And in the end we truly feel like we have a new friend, not just an amazingly talented photographer. Oh, and her dance moves and sense of humor - we couldn't have asked for a better experience with Ashley!

Ashley Tiegden is an absolutely incredible incredible photographer and human. I am so blown away by her talent and capturing the moment and making everything look so beautiful. She has such an eye for what she does and I can not recommend her enough. People said spending a little more on photography was important when it comes to weddings... I would spend 10x what she charges to have her capture the most important day of my life. She is so amazing and I can’t express it enough.

My husband and I are so very glad that we hired Ashley as our wedding photographer. She truly captured the feel of our day and we get so many compliments on the pictures we share because her work is absolutely incredible. We had to change our wedding plans multiple times because of COVID-19 and Ashley was positive and there for us, no matter how many changes we had to make. She was also helpful in coming up with ideas and being so supportive to us during that difficult time. So many of our loved ones were unable to attend our small wedding because of the pandemic and all of them feel that they experienced our wedding because of the pictures she took. I heard of Ashley through a friend-of-a-friend who had worked with her the year prior. After scoping her out on Instagram, I immediately recognized and could see Ashley’s incredible eye and talent. She has a beautiful way of speaking through her pictures and capturing the most honest and authentic moments. My husband and I were lucky and fortunate enough to work with Ashely for our engagement and wedding photos. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with our experience. At our engagement session, it was a mountain sunrise mid-winter session (i.e. it was very cold…) and yet Ashley warmed us up with her jokes and had us twirling on the edge of the world with the Rocky Mountains endlessly reaching to the horizon behind us. We forgot all about our frozen fingers and toes in no time.

Fast forward to the wedding day – we said our vows and “I do’s” and were well into the formal family pictures. As you might expect, family gets antsy sitting around and waiting for their picture to be taken. All of the anxious energy felt like it was being directed right at me, and being an anxious person myself, I started to internalize it (of course not something you want to feel on your wedding day). But what you don’t know is that Ashley is a super woman – part photographer, part therapist, part professional raiser-of-roofs. Her therapist side came out and she helped me manage through the photos and got me to focus back on what really mattered – being with my husband. She once again had us laughing and twirling in our one-on-one photos and immediately my anxiousness fell away.

Oh, and her moves on the dance floor are fire!

Separately I also worked with Ashley on a boudoir shoot which was my gift to my husband on our wedding day. Never, ever had I done something like this before and was rather nervous to stand in front of a camera in such a way. Ashley is such a calming and kind personality, however, that you can’t help but be at ease around her. The photos were a huge hit with my husband, and I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to do something like this and build confidence in myself. You are beautiful. And you should be proud of you. Don’t be afraid to show you off every now and again.

Ashley is not only exceptionally talented, but an incredibly kind and fun person. Neither my husband nor I feel comfortable in front of a camera, but she made our whole experience so easy and truly enjoyable. We are so happy with our wedding photos and will cherish them for a lifetime! Thank you for everything Ashley!!!
