Ashley Lang Events uniquely offers completely customized, high-touch event planning with graphic design in the Greater Memphis Area. Our organization and persistence mixed with a fresh and modern creative eye prove to be a winning combination.
Through communication, trust, and industry experience, we work hard to provide events that are seamless, well-executed representations of and for our clients.
Our goal is that you feel like a guest at your own event.
When your friends and family hand-place you on a path, you go.
After years of both hearing "you should do this for a living," we bit the bullet. Then, we looked at each other and said, "I want to do this, but only if it's with you."
With a friendship lasting from elementary school through college and beyond, we have merged our passions and gained a thoughtful understanding and knowledge of each other's strengths. Years of utilizing these strengths, in our workplace events and design, led us to the wonderful inevitability of Ashley Lang Events.
Our pride rests on respect for our clients, accessibility and curation of optimal results. From place cards to comprehensive event timelines, our organization and attention to all elements comforts both client and vendor alike. We understand that committing to an event planner for the biggest moments in your life is an investment. not only financially, but emotionally. We don't take for granted that you entrust us with this - we're honored by it.
We look forward to working with you on your Planning + Paper.

Our Dream Wedding
Mallory and Jordan with Ashley Lang events are incredible. We used them to help us plan our wedding, and couldn’t be happier with the results. Planning a wedding was way more complicated and tedious than we realized, but Mallory and Jordan made the process manageable and fun. They listened to our initial ideas of what we wanted for the wedding, offering awesome suggestions and helpful tips along the way. They created an action plan for us, lined up vendors for us to try out etc. They worked with our family-members, bridesmaids, and groomsmen when we needed them to. They were there for us every step of the way. It was very reassuring knowing we were in good hands.
And then there was the wedding weekend! They were rock stars. With walkie talkies strapped to their sides and clipboards in their hands – Mallory and Jordan kept tabs on every detail during all of the set-up and execution of the wedding. They were laser focused, making sure everything was perfect, while having awesome upbeat attitudes that kept my wife, myself, and our families confident that we could relax and focus on each other on our special day (and not on where the florist was parking, or giving directions to caterers, etc.). They also made themselves available to our guests and were incredible helpful and loved by all.
We were a bit unsure whether we needed wedding planners in the beginning, but having been through the whole deal – having Mallory and Jordan there to help us was the best thing we did for planning the wedding. It took so much pressure off of us and our families and there’s no way our wedding would have been half as nice if we had tried to do it on our own. These two are pros and I will be recommending them to everyone I know in the midsouth trying to plan an event.

I have nothing but praise for Jordan and Mallory. Planning a wedding 6 hours from the venue would have been a nightmare without them. They were patient with us and worked around our schedule for meetings. No request was ignored; they were a joy to work with. I highly recommend them.Sent on 08/29/2019

When asked what hats do you wear as an event planner, Jordan replied, "all of them." A common misconception is that planners have the easy task of just picking up some balloons and making things sparkle, but Jordan embodies the full spectrum of hat-wearing. One minute she's moving furniture, the next she's bussing tables, the next she's delivering flowers, and the next she's fixing a dress. You don't see it, and that's the point.
Jordan, a native Memphian, graduated from The University of Alabama ('08) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. After working as an Event Coordinator at Ronald McDonald House of Memphis, she was hooked, and her love of fundraising and events took her on an exciting career path from the Development Director at Bodine School to the Senior Director of Development at Christian Brothers University.
Jordan married her husband, Michael, in Rosemary Beach and together they love to cook and craft cocktails. Their lives are brightened and kept busy with their son and daughter, Spencer (4) and Susie (2). You'll probably find them at one of their favorite local restaurants or their happy place, the beach.
"Clients always come to me with their 'wants' and think their ideas are scattered or are drawn to differing ideas altogether," Mallory says. Then she reminds them, that's HER job to make sense of it. When Mallory is invited to a Pinterest board or is handed ripped magazine pages of inspiration, it feels like Christmas. To some, it might seem daunting, but she finds the relevant elements and strings them together. Cultivating that information and walking that path is exciting and different every time. Through the process, Mallory enjoys getting to know her bride or host closely and loves when a friendship forms. No task is taken lightly, as she feels the weight of every piece that goes into the biggest day of one's life, a milestone birthday, a grand opening, and beyond.
Mallory is a life-long Memphian and The University of Alabama alum ('08), earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, concentrating in Graphic Design, with an Advertising minor. Mallory was the Graphic Design and Marketing Coordinator at Malco Theatres for seven years and then freelanced to lean more into the wedding and event world.
Mallory and her husband, Stephen, are doting parents to two sons, Paul (4) and Ward (2). They are self-proclaimed foodies who you'll find going to see live music or planning their next trip, usually to Colorado, with their kids and Husky-mix rescue dogs, Teddy and Teton, in tow.
