I cannot say enough positive things about Ashley. I found her on wedding wire and reached out because she seemed to have the only reasonable prices in Chicago. I was willing to pay for MY makeup but didn't want my bridesmaids to have to pay ridiculously high prices; Ashley made this possible. I did my makeup trial at her house and felt very comfortable with her from the start, she even did a makeup trial for my mom close to the wedding. I don't wear any make up to work and my idea of weekend makeup is mascara and penciling in my eyebrows. From the start I told Ashley me and my bridal party would want the minimum and to all look very natural. I had had makeup done before and felt very uncomfortable in heavy makeup. She made me look like myself but 10x more beautiful on my wedding day, I felt so comfortable and I really looked like me. All my pictures are beautiful and I love the way my makeup looks in every one; I see me and my face and not a mask of makeup. My mom and bridesmaids also LOVED their makeup and looked like themselves. One of my bridesmaids said to Ashley, "where were you on my wedding day? I look better today than I did at my own wedding." What a ringing endorsement. She is positive and fun and was enjoyable to be around. She is also great at taking feedback and adjusting makeup. At my trial she really listened to me and made a few tweaks and I got exactly what I wanted. Hire this lovely, talented person!

I know it's a cliche, but I truly have never felt more beautiful than I did at the wedding. Ashley's makeup was stunning, and I felt so like myself and gorgeous. It was so fun working with her - in my trial, we would check in often, adjust each element, until we figured out the right look. Day-of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly with me and my bridesmaids, and everyone just looked incredible. The exact natural-but-better look I dreamed of!

Ashley was amazing. I booked her from a different state and was extremely comfortable without doing a test session. We discussed everything over the phone and Ashley communicated through email. Everything was amazing!
