I'm not interested in photographing some idealized version of your love. For me, it is so much more important to create something honest, something with raw edges and all the feels. I approach photography from a fine art + photojournalistic perspective. I see each wedding as an opportunity to collaborate with you, to more accurately depict your love by letting the way you naturally interact with each other be the focus, rather than trying to fit you into preconceived looks and styles. While I want to fully capture the feeling of your wedding day, I’m more drawn to the way the light spills down the hall where you are getting ready than set up shots of shoes and jewelry, and I’m more likely to be choosing emotions and moments that include the people you love, over table centerpieces. I hope you are more interested in authentic images of your love story than some watered down and homogenized robot poses from the rest of the wedding industrial complex.
