Ariel-Foundation Park is a wonderful park and outdoor wedding venue located in Mount Vernon, Ohio. This civic park stretches over 265 acres and was once home to the largest plate glass factory in the world. The grounds feature several event spaces, an abundance of natural beauty, and intriguing remnants of its storied past. Facilities and Capacity

Ariel-Foundation Park offers four bookable event spaces on its expansive grounds. The largest of these is the 17,000-square-foot Schnormeier Event Center which can comfortably accommodate up to 2,000 guests. This structure offers overhead shelter from the elements while its open sides allow events held here to retain a connection to the surrounding scenery. This space is large enough to accommodate all wedding elements under one roof, including the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It also benefits from a spacious stage which can be utilized for event entertainment and speeches. There are two picnic pavilions available for those that wish to host smaller occasions here. Both provide idyllic views across the lakes located within the park and the surrounding woodland. The Park National Bank Pavilion is suitable for parties of up to 256 guests. The Kiwanis Pavilion can host up to 40 attendees for intimate nuptial celebrations. The Community Foundation Pavilion provides a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor space within the park. The former sheet-glass warehouse offers high, vaulted ceilings, exposed brick walls, and ample space for up to 120 guests for a seated reception. Outside, a relaxed cocktail hour can be staged on the covered patio. For an entirely indoor celebration, The Urton Clock House and Museum provides the perfect spot. This building offers a cool shelter in Summer and a cozy heated space in Winter and is an ideal option for year-round celebrations.
