Erika is the absolute best!! We were extremely fortunate she was available for our wedding date - her knowledge of photography, professionalism and personality make her such a pleasure to work with. She puts so much preparation and thought into her shots, and spends the time to edit them after the session. It’s true, you get what you pay for - if you want the best then hire Erika!!

This first thing I did after becoming engaged was to search for a photographer. This was the one vendor I wanted to get right because, as they say, your wedding day flies by. I had a clear vision of what our wedding could look like and I wanted the photos to reflect that so we could remember those moments forever. Erika had photographed a family friend’s wedding and I fell in love with her editing style. She came highly recommended and quickly I realized why. She made every effort to attentively answer my very lengthy email introducing all the ideas I had in my head with professional reassurance that, together, we would make my dream a reality. This was early 2020. Just like all other COVID brides I had some difficult decisions to make which resulted in us keeping only one vendor; Erika. And I have zero regrets! She patiently worked with us on our ever-changing plans. I will never forget how she routinely checked in on my mental wellbeing month after month. She even worked on customizing our package for us when we were forced to downsize considerably. She’s proven to be a compassionate person, sincerely dedicated to her clients. For both our engagement photoshoot and wedding event, she practiced the suggested safety guidelines and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and had what I needed to enjoy myself. Her professionalism, flexibility, and down-to-earth charm allowed us to feel super comfortable with the process. And the photos!! She edited them perfectly in the style I loved; moody and elegant with a dash of magic. (It was Halloween, after all.) She made our 15-person wedding in the woods look like it was set in an enchanted forest. Our backyard dinner transformed into a high-end venue. We received the photos right on time, too. If you’re looking for someone to help turn your dream to reality, no matter the circumstances, then Erika is your girl. I feel like we gained a lifelong friend in the process. 10/10 would recommend!

Erika is such an amazingly, talented artist- her pictures are truly works of art! She is very responsive prior to the big day, which made my life easier as a bride. She is very easy to get along with and having her document are day was a blast! She also had a quick turnaround with her final edits! She is the best!

Erika was recommended to my husband and I through a mutual friend. As soon as we looked at her Instagram page we had a good feeling and set up an appointment to meet her; she was very responsive and we arranged a meeting quickly. After our first meeting with Erika we knew we wanted her to photograph our engagement session and our wedding. She was extremely friendly, professional, clearly talented, and reasonably priced. The engagement photos looked like they could be on a magazine cover. She was such a trooper during the process; going to spots we were excited to use as backdrops for our photos, in the freezing-cold January weather. She was very supportive throughout the months leading up to the wedding; checking in, asking about our vision, making sure she knew exactly what we wanted for our big day. We could not be happier with our photos! I still cry when I look at them and can’t wipe the smile off my face. They’re just gorgeous. She caught so many moments that are so meaningful to us. Guests also loved her and commented about how sweet and friendly and accommodating she is. To say we are happy with Erika and our photos is an understatement. Highly recommend her!!

Erika, the owner of Apke Photography, is hands down AMAZING. She is so personable and easy to work with. Her work is stunning and truly captures the little moments that you can look back on with a smile. In my first phone call with Erika, she made us feel at ease about getting pictures taken, even though my husband and I are not fans of a camera in our face . She puts together a package to help you prepare for your engagement session/Wedding day. During your sessions with her, she plays games with you to get you to relax. She spends the time to get to know you and your partner and honestly cares about her couples. To top it off she is reasonably priced and super reliable, on time and trustworthy.

Taking pictures with them was fun and laid back. They very professional and detail oriented. We hope to work with them again.

Erika took our engagement and wedding photos, and we couldn't make a better choice. She is a great photographer that made photo sessions relaxed and the pictures came out very natural and absolutely beautiful! She went above and beyond, and we had a great experience.
