Another Roadside Attraction was established in 1987 by Karen Blockman Carrier. Known for her outrageous style and flair she began her career as a painter in NYC. Karen soon realized that painting would not pay the rent so she enrolled in the NY Cooking School. She brought her artistic talents to the "table". Upon her return to Memphis excited about food and art Karen opened Another Roadside Attraction. You might remember the hats the staff wore at those early parties.

In 1988 Dana Baldwin joined the Roadside team after she relocated to Memphis from NYC. Ironically enough both Karen and Dana frequented the same NYC establishments but never met. They seemed to have orbited each other.

Twenty years later they still work side by side to create fun, fabulous and tasty events.
