Jen was so great! We had a vegan wedding, so we knew that we’d go to Angel Cakes to provide our wedding cake and the cupcakes for our wedding guests. I don’t know of another bakery that has so many vegan cake flavor options! Everyone loved the cupcakes—it was one of the comments we heard most after the festivities! Jen even provide a separate box of gluten free cakes for one of our guests with an allergy. The simple buttercream design was exactly what we wanted. No fuss, just a beautifully frosted & delicious cake! We can’t wait to eat our frozen saved slice on our anniversary.

We hired Angel Cakes to make the cupcakes and small cutting cake for our wedding and we made a great choice! We were able to order a tasting box with 6 flavors of cupcakes, and ultimately went with three cupcake flavors: double chocolate, dulce de leche, and meyer lemon cream. They were all absolutely delicious and a big hit with our guests! We also got a small cutting cake. Because we got married at the San Francisco Zoo, we asked if they would be able to make the inside of the cake zebra striped, and as you can see they delivered! A super cute, delicious detail!

We ordered our cake and cupcakes from Angel Cakes and planned to have their tasty cupcake desserts at our reception, but due to the pandemic, sadly we were unable to have our reception. However, a year later we were able to have a small intimate ceremony and Jen was able to accommodate us. We loved our cake (a simple strawberry flavor, but the frosting was so flavorful, and the cake tasted so yummy and light— my family took half the wedding cake home!)! Because of COVID restrictions as well, they were able to pack our smaller cupcakes to give as little souvenirs for our guests (which was quickly gobbled up as well— the strawberry and chocolate cupcakes were definitely a hit). Overall, they were easy to communicate with; cake testing was simple (in that you choose flavors and they prepare cupcakes for you to try at home); and they are super flexible and give great advice on flavors. If you’re looking for a sweet treat to get your guests that is both affordable and flavorful, Angel Cakes is definitely a go-to.

We absolutely loved working with Jen and eating her cupcakes! She was so flexible and helpful as we planned how many cupcakes to serve and which flavors to choose. She even made us a two tier cutting cake. It was perfect. The best part? All of them could be made gluten free!! Some vegan, too! Highly recommended.

We ordered 300 cupcakes in four different flavors, and they were amazing. We tried a lot of cupcake makers, and Jen's were the tastiest, cheapest, available in the most flavors, most attractive - literally the best by every metric.

She also has a popup shop at Tea Here Now in Oakland Fridays from 1-4, just in case you want to taste her wares. We went with the mojito, gluten-free chocolate, salted caramel, and lemon raspberry. Narrowing it down to four was an epic challenge, and she gave us lots of samples to try. Love them, love her. Highly recommended.

When we started looked for a wedding cake baker, we hoped to find one whose cakes were tasty, nicely presented and reasonably priced. Boy, that’s not easy to find in the SF Bay Area! The bakers in within our budget seemed to either have great tasting cakes but limited range of décor or fantastic décor but limited flavors and lackluster taste.

So we were very excited to find Jen and Angel cakes! Her cakes are delicious, they offer a wide selection of both standard and unique flavors, do beautiful décor and are affordable.

Jen was willing to work together on décor ideas that would match our wedding theme. On wedding day she delivered 3 beautiful cakes and styled them gorgeously with the cake toppers and flowers we provided. Our cake table looked amazing and our guests raved about the cake. I was glad we ordered a bit more than needed so there were a few leftovers to take home!

I highly recommend Angel Cakes for your wedding—and any other cake and cupcake needs.

Good priced mini cupcakes, cutting cake, rental items, and delivery service!!

We had my sister's wedding cake and cupcake done here. My sister is vegan and was looking for vegan cakes that would satisfy the non vegan wedding guests. Jen was very responsive and helped us find the right flavors and amounts. They have so many great flavors it was hard to choose but we went with smore's, blueberry cheesecake, Turkish coffee, and rose vanilla. We received so many compliments from the guests and no one could tell they were vegan.

Angel Cakes cupcakes taste fantastic, ordering and delivery went smooth. Very pleased.
