Ambience Events is a décor creation and party rental service based in Springfield, Ohio. Owner and creative director Rick Benning first established the innovative company in 1994, instilling it with creative expertise gleaned from the Columbus College of Art and Design. Alongside graphic designer Justin Belcher, he delights in empowering to-be-weds in their most imaginative artistic endeavors. From Great Gatsby themes to enchanted forest receptions, they look forward to turning your vision into a reality.

Rick has always had an artistic eye, so it's no wonder he's been the owner of Ambience and the creative director for over twenty-five years. As a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design, he partnered with David McDargh to start Ambience Events in 1994. Since then, he has championed countless artistic endeavors from numerous annual local corporate meetings down to more personal projects such as his friends' weddings and anniversaries.
Justin has been with us for over a decade now, and at this point has designed many events on his own, big to small. Having studied at The Art Institute of Los Angeles: Santa Monica with a background in graphic design and animation, Justin has been able to bring a very unique perspective to our team. In addition to weddings, he also heads up our high school dance department for all of your Prom and Homecoming needs!
