i am a fine art documentary photographer with a passion for weddings. i live in utah with my very tall husband and three soccer-loving sons. i live for music, hot baths, and snuggles from my 4 year old. i’m not afraid of full sun portraits or low-lit ceremonies. i am afraid of heights. and spiders.

connecting with other human beings to create beautiful and honest images while being a witness to some of the most important moments of their lives is almost beyond words. i love nothing more than blending in with the crowd and documenting moments that would otherwise go unnoticed. moments that will be cherished for generations to come. every wedding matters to me. every wedding i shoot as though it were my own.i am obsessed with old family albums and i like my work to feel intimate and timeless in that way. i believe that your wedding day photos should feel like they were taken by someone who knows and loves you (and also knows how to work a camera), not some professional stranger. i don’t want to be just another vendor at your wedding, i want to feel like a guest. so that’s my approach: capture the emotion, capture the moments, and in the end, deliver images that move you, images that will help you relive your wedding day over and over for years to come. i do this by being as un-intrusive as possible. i let your day unfold, and simply document what i see. because in the end, the best images will be reminders of real moments. the authentic memories will remain intact.

it’s the in-between moments that move me. weddings can be a blur, and no matter how hard you try to remember it all, you will miss some of the most beautiful moments. i believe in the magic of the ordinary and i want to artistically capture your story exactly as it is, and your people exactly as they are.
