We approached Allen to see what he could do for us within our budget. For the budget we set, and for the quality of his work... we feel that we made the best decision! The package he prepared for us included an engagement session and 8 hours of footage for the wedding day with a second photographer. He was able to capture great photos even though it was SO bright and hot the day we got married... our pictures came out and weren't blown out. Highly recommend!!!

We were greatful to had Allen and Wendy as our photographers! As we were newbie to planning a wedding photo. We didn't know where to start but thanks to Allen and Wendy's kind/friendly step by step explanation, showing us their beautiful work, we were stunned. None like other photographers, Allen and Wendy were very helpful with our needs. Thank you to both for the wonderful/beautiful photos. We will return whenever we have our first baby.

Ooops, after I wrote the review, I realized I may have miscommunicated regarding the use of sunscreen. It is very important to sue sunscreen at all time. What Wendy advised me was to use oil-free sunscreen to avoid the shine. I didn't have it, so I decided to skip it. The makeup used did contain sunscreen, so I wasn't completely without it. Besides, my wedding was indoor. Allen and Wendy also made sure we were in the shade when we're out outside taking pictures. Hopefully this helps.

Allen Taylor photography was highly recommended to me by a good friend of mine when I was planning for my June 2011 wedding earlier this year. At first, I was a little concerned because my wedding was in Phoenix, AZ and Allen was in Los Angeles, CA. Yet, I also knew that I only had one chance to capture all my wedding memories of this big day and I really wanted the best photographer I could find and afford. So I decided to check Allen Taylor Photography out. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Not only was I amazed by Allen's work; his price was equally amazing. Allen Taylor Photography actually is a team of 2 seasoned photographers: Allen and Wendy. Both of them were very personable and extremely easy to work with. I have always been nervous in front of camera, imagine as a bride! Somehow Allen and Wendy made it very easy for me. I was more relaxed than I never thought I could. My wedding pictures turned out beautifully and there were more pictures than I expected. Frankly, I still can’t believe that I paid for one photographer and got two!

Also I remember in one of meetings we had, Wendy advised me not to put on any sun screen (I live in AZ!) on my wedding day because it would make my face shining and the pictures would not turned out right. I thought that was so professional of her to think ahead like that. I would have been very disappointed knowing it after the fact. Thank you, Wendy!

Allen and Wendy were my wedding photographers, and I just loved them! They did such a great job documenting our special day. Allen has a great knack of making you comfortable in front of the camera for the posed shots, and we never noticed them when they were taking live action shots. Allen has a great photojournalistic style, and I feel like many of my engagement and wedding pictures would make great magazine covers.

I haven't recieved my album yet, but I have seen the previews of it, and seen their sample albums, and I am beyond excited to get my wedding album. Allen did a really amazing job capturing the essence of our wedding day in the album. There were literally over a thousand pictures that Allen and Wendy took on our wedding day, and over 100 of them in the album (yes, I counted! :)) Allen did a great job distilling all those photos into the best ones to tell the visual story of our wedding day.

Bottom line, you're making the right choice if you hire Allen and Wendy to shoot your wedding. So many people told us horror stories about how they never got their wedding pictures (once you start planning a wedding, everyone tells you all the things that went wrong with theirs!), but I never worried about that when working with Allen and Wendy. They were always available via email, usually responding in the same day, and were able to give me great advice on some of my planning aspects. (For example, I had a cloth backdrop behind the head table, and I needed to know what color would photograph the best.) Within a few weeks of my wedding date, all our pictures were up online, and after a month, we had a sample of our wedding album.

I am very glad I hired Allen and Wendy as my wedding photographers, and I'm sure you will be too!

I had known Allen through his sister. I knew he had moved to California and wasn't sure if I could afford him to fly up to Seattle to take my wedding pictures. I contacted him and turned out his packages were very affordable. And because he has family in Seattle, he was able to discount his travel fee quite a bit.

I knew Allen is an amazing photographer from all the work I've seen through the years, but my wedding photographs still blew me away! He created beautiful images that you normally would only see in magazines. My husband and I were so blessed to have him capture our special day! Everyone loved our wedding photos!

Allen is also extremely professional. He arrived ahead of schedule and did not leave until the last dance. He is also really fun to work with and funny to talk to. Our guests loved him as well.

Allen got along with everyone right away. He and his partner, Wendy, made everyone feel special and you could tell they new what they were doing. The images proved it. They were so easy to work with and didn't mind when plans had to be changed or moved around. He is very funny and made everything so much easier to do and make happen.
