I'm an effusive and passionate photographer and I take my role as the storyteller of your wedding day very seriously. I see it as not only as my job to document those special moments you want to remember forever, but also to help my clients be present and in the moment, to help calm any nerves, and to generally help in any way I can; I've discovered through the years and dozens of weddings that the happier the couple is, the better the photos are, so it's all part of a wedding day's work!

I tend to take a more hands off approach during the ceremony and reception, with a little more direction during the formal portraits, but my goal is always to help my clients' personalities shine through rather than trying to manufacture an unnatural moment, which my clients usually appreciate!

But most of all, I just love weddings! I'm a hopeless romantic, and I love that every wedding, while sharing similarities in form, is unique to that couple, taking on elements of their personalities both individually and as a couple. Your wedding is a true reflection of who you are! I come to each wedding with this in mind, treating it with the same dedication and precision as my first, because it is my first time photographing THIS wedding.

I'm inspired by so many things, but it seems to all come back to the everyday magic of love. The look in his eyes as he sees his soon-to-be spouse walk down the aisle, the gentle touch of her hand on her new partner's shoulder as they start their first dance as a married couple. The exhuberance of the dancers celebrating with their loved ones. Laughing so hard you cry during your best friend's toast, only to have those tears turn to ones of joy and love as she tells you how much you mean to her. It's these moments that bring me back to weddings over and over again, and I hope I get the chance to document these moments at your wedding.
