We felt the food was one of the most important aspect of our wedding. We went through so many tastings before a friend of ours recommended Alexander’s Catering. They raved about the food. I contacted Mike and asked to set up a meeting. They actually came out to the venue and brought meat from a bbq they had catered earlier. One bite of their pork tenderloin and we were sold. Both Mike and Denise were wonderful to us through the whole process. We changed the menu a few times and they just rolled with it. Everyone at our wedding raved about the food and how beautiful everything was. While guests arrived, they were served Watermelon Mint Lemonade, Ruby Red Hibiscus Ice Tea, and cucumber lemon water. We had passed hor d'oeuvres (shrimp with a tangy cocktail sauce, Sole Ceviche in mini corn cups, chilled watermelon squares with Feta and mint and Mini grilled cheese sandwiches on Hawaiian bread) as well as stationary artisan cheese table a crowd fav was the stuffed grapes. And when it came to our signature drink, I knew that I wanted a drink to be pink, have strawberry and vodka and be a little sweet. Denise gave these requests to her bartender who mixed the perfect concoction. For dinner we chose a plated salad of field greens with Kahlua-caramelized walnuts, sliced pears with pomegranate vinaigrette and then an entree buffet King Salmon, prime tri tip carving station, green beans, roasted asparagus, mashed potatoes.Then if that was not enough food we served an evening snack of marguerita pizza and strawberry cream puffs. We had a few dietary restrictions and they took care of it with ease. The staff was amazing to us and our guests! They made sure bring me a plate of the hor d'oeuvres and my signature drink! Thank you so much for making our event great- the only thing we were bummed about was we wanted to get a picture with Mike and Denise at the wedding but everything went by so fast that we didn't get a chance to.

Alexander's provided full-service catering for my wedding, including a bar, passed appetizers during our cocktail hour, and a buffet during the reception. The food was TO.DIE.FOR -- we received TONS of compliments on all of the dishes, even from our most notoriously picky guests. The presentation was clean, gorgeous, and coordinated to match our home-made centerpieces perfectly (succulents). Because many of our guests had dietary restrictions, I asked for allergenic items to be labeled as such -- Alexander's came through with flying colors by listing ALL ingredients in pretty font on each dish label. :) Perfect!!
We had a full spread of comfort-food items: a tri-tip carving station, roasted chicken, seven-cheese mac 'n' cheese, baked beans, fried green tomatoes, field green salad, coleslaw and rolls. Every single item on the menu got specific rave reviews from our guests, and when we've talked to our friends and family since, we've kept hearing "your wedding was so nice -- and OMG, the FOOD!!!"

The catering staff -- servers, bartenders and management -- were incredibly sweet and attentive, not to mention sharply dressed for the occasion. They really went above and beyond in making sure that our guests were well-fed and having a good time. My sister noted that one of the bartenders kindly helped wrangle her fountain-exploring toddlers between serving drinks, and despite my frazzled fog, I do recall very helpful people who encouraged me to stuff my busy-but-hungry face with their stuffed mushrooms and cajun shrimp between photos during the cocktail hour! MUCH appreciated.

From my experience in planning events at work, I know very well that the level of caring and investment shown by Alexander's at my wedding is not something that can be taken for granted, especially these days. Do yourself a favor and Alexander's for your next event! :)
