Aleksey and Leah are an incredible team! We loved working with them from beginning to finish, and the "sneak peak" we received just days after our wedding revealed the most beautiful, artistic, professional photos we could yever hope for! We knew they would be amazing from seeing all of the work they have done with other couples, but to see your own photos look as beautiful has such an impact. The day was so special and so emotional, and they captured the lovely essence of our celebration just perfectly.

Before we even got to the big day, we had several virtual meetings with Aleksey to go over all of the details of what the day would look like and what we wanted from our photographers. We let Aleksey take us by the hand and listened to his recommendations for how things would flow best. It was so helpful to have an experienced touch with this behind-the-scenes planning because we had none of our own. He was kind, professional, and funny, and immediately we were looking forward to working with himself and Leah.

On the big day, Aleksey was cracking his hilarious dad jokes from the beginning, keeping the energy light and easing some of the natural anxiety and tension we were feeling before the ceremony went underway. Leah was so calm, collected, and warmly straightforward with her instructions which was immensely helpful. Our portraits, formals, and candids all came out great.

We did a first look before the ceremony so that we could exchange our personal vows privately. Aleksey and Leah were able to capture the tenderness and softness of that moment without even being noticed. Wedding party photos came next and had us laughing and being silly together which we are so thrilled to have on record. Everyone looked great. Our ceremony then took place on a tiny fairy-tale inspired island, surrounded by a Koi pond in the Japanese Garden at Avanti Mansion. This setting was one of the big reasons why we chose this venue to get married in and I am thrilled we had fair weather. Aleksey and Leah masterfully captured the beauty of the location. Multiple friends and family commented on how thorough they were, and how kind and charming their presence was.

We couldn't have asked for a better team to handle this very important element of our big day and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for the best wedding photographers in the Buffalo area! Thank you Aleksey and Leah!

AlekseyK was our best vendor! Aleksey is not only incredibly talented and a master of his craft, he is also extremely thorough and communicative. He created an amazing timeline for our day and, on top of taking beautiful pictures, he and Leah were a huge help in keeping the day running smoothly. They worked their asses off and gave us absolutely stunning pictures. I think there is a picture of every single guest, they were everywhere but also masterful in capturing huge moments without us really knowing they were there. They totally captured the energy and beauty of our day, we cannot recommend them enough. 10/10 for communication, preparation, and results. For what the service they provide, they are very fairly priced.

Aleksey and Leah were fantastic to work with. They made the day flow naturally, helped us plan, stick to our timeline and even helped us through unexpected hurdles that were out of their control. They made sure that we were both engaged and enjoying our day to the fullest.

When the brides bustle broke, Leah was able to fix it with her sewing kit, and she did the same for the guys jackets when buttons were falling off or something needed to be restitched.

The pictures turned out spectacular and we are so grateful for both Aleksey and Leah for helping make sure that our wedding day went on as smoothly as possible so we could just relax and enjoy the day with our loved ones. We highly recommend anyone to choose Aleksey for their special day!

WOW... Our wedding was on June 4th 2026 and hands down Aleksey and Leah were the greatest people I have ever worked with. Their work is phenomenal. We went for the 2 photographer option for the longest time possible and I am so glad we did. We now have so many amazing, beautiful photos of our special day.

To begin, Aleksey is a very organized and knowledgable photographer. He set up multiple meetings to discuss plans and timelines before the wedding. He developed basically my entire wedding timeline (which was SO helpful). Many (if not all) of my other vendors are ones he has worked with before so he was very accustomed to how they worked. He also gave me the suggestion of where to do my first look spot which we ended up using and loving. He was very punctual and very easy to work with. Truly he made my life so easy.

Not only are his organization skills exceptional but he certainly has an eye for photography. His work is art. He knew exactly where/how to position me and my bridal party, and which locations would make the best backgrounds. Throughout the picture-taking he made fun jokes that had everyone laughing, providing genuine smiles in the photos.

Additionally Aleksey's wife Leah is equally as amazing. Her photography skills are exceptional, and she was such a support to me throughout the day. She even helped me bustle my dress and bobby pin my veil in. My favorite part about her is she was not afraid to be the bad guy; she pulled me aside and told me if I was done taking pictures to let her know and she would tell everyone that we were done.

To wrap things up this duo is amazing. my heart is so full knowing they captured my day perfectly. My jaw was on the floor when I received my photos (which was insanely fast!! 2 weeks and we were sent all of our edited photos). I could go on but I think theres a word limit. I hope this review helps!

As the groom, I took the lead on selecting our photographer because I was looking for something specific. I didn't just want standard wedding snapshots; I wanted an artist with an editorial eye. I found that in the work of Aleksey K Photography.

We chose the package that included both Aleksey and his wife, and they were a fantastic team to work with. Aleksey’s process is incredibly professional. From the initial survey to understand our personalities, to the multiple planning meetings months in advance, he made sure our expectations were aligned. I trusted him with the creative freedom to capture the day his way, and he delivered. The pricing was industry average, but for the level of artistry and professionalism we received, it was worth every penny. Highly recommended for anyone who wants their wedding photos to look like art.

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! From start to finish, Aleksey & Leah were professional, friendly, and so easy to work with. They captured every special moment beautifully from the emotional first look to the fun on the dance floor without ever feeling intrusive. The photos are absolutely stunning. Every image feels natural, full of emotion, and perfectly tells the story of our day. We’ve received so many compliments from family and friends about how gorgeous the pictures turned out. Beyond the amazing photos, Aleksey helped us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera, keeping everything organized and relaxed. Their attention to detail and creative eye made all the difference. We’ll cherish these photos forever. If you’re looking for someone who truly loves what they do and delivers beyond expectations, we couldn’t recommend AlekseyK Photography enough!

Aleksky wasn’t as much a vendor as he was a valued part of the wedding. From the planning and design stage, he met with us several times and gave us great insight to what he has seen at other weddings and assistance in planning timing elements. At the wedding, he did a tremendous job with the photography and took every effort to make the small details just right for some amazing pictures. He was helpful right from when he got there at noon as I was putting my suit on. The first look pictures were also tremendous. I recommend him wholeheartedly! You will not be disappointed!

Aleksey was absolutely incredible and truly the best vendor we worked with for our wedding. From the very beginning, he was professional, fun, and full of personality. He met with us multiple times over the year to plan, made sure we felt prepared, and on the day of, he went above and beyond—keeping us on schedule, offering great suggestions, and rolling with the punches when things ran behind.

His attention to detail was unmatched, and he genuinely felt like our unofficial day-of coordinator. He made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable, and our photos reflect that perfectly. Prompt, organized, and full of energy, he exceeded every expectation we had. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better!

I don’t think it’s possible for us to say enough good things about Aleksey. We knew Aleksey was the perfect choice to photograph our wedding from our first interaction with him. He was extremely detail oriented - even giving me tips for picking my dress - and easy to get along with. You will spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day so feeling comfortable with them and their direction is so important.

Leading up to our wedding, Aleksey was available for multiple calls, shared photo ideas, and helped us create the right timeline.

On the day of, he was prompt, sticking to the timeline and even sometimes working ahead of schedule (which we love!) and gave clear guidance to us and all of our family and friends - he even learned every parent and wedding party person’s name so he could direct us personally.

My husband and I were able to get every photo and more that was listed on our planning sheet. We received our preview photos within days of the wedding and were blown away. He captured the love, joy, happy tears, and every other emotion from the day perfectly. Our family and friends can’t stop complementing his professionalism and skill from the wedding day. We are so happy with the photos we’ve received and can’t wait to see the rest.

We absolutely recommend Aleksey for any photo needs you and your family have.

We couldn’t have been happier with AlekseyK photography! From the very beginning, he was incredibly organized and thorough, ensuring every detail of our day was planned perfectly. We FaceTimed with him three times before the wedding, which gave us so much confidence in the timeline and helped everyone know exactly where they needed to be. On the day of, his humor and fun personality made the experience so enjoyable. He kept everything running smoothly, and even when minor hiccups arose, he reassured me that everything would work out. His calm and confident attitude made all the difference. He was also so creative, sharing great ideas and tips throughout the planning process and being completely open to any photo requests we had. Taking pictures with him never felt like a chore—it was genuinely fun and one of the highlights of our day. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, personable, and truly talented, we can’t recommend him enough!
