Alaura Creative is a photography and design studio based in Chicago, Illinois, that captures weddings and celebrations of love. Before opening her own business, owner Alaura studied journalism at Northwestern University and worked in marketing. She spent several years at a luxury wedding design house, where she fell in love with the intricacy and detail that goes into wedding planning. Her business is the confluence of these interests and influences, and she brings an eye for design, business savvy, and branding acumen to her work. She has more than 10 years of experience in photography, and is excited to collaborate with couples to tell their love story through timeless imagery.

Alaura is such an incredible photographer and I'm so lucky to have had the chance to work with her for our wedding! She captured the day beautifully. She scoped out our location and the scenery perfectly and really knew how to capture our love and the beautiful fall colors. She made my husband and I feel at ease, and it really did feel like a friend was cheering us on as we took photographs.
