We met Marie at a wedding expo in early 2023. At this point in time, my fiance and I were not considering a wedding coordinator (and we were so wrong lol). However, we noticed that our friends, who were getting married a month before us, were talking to Marie at her vendor booth and they had such a genuine interaction - a lot of hugs and laughter were exchanged. After the wedding expo, our friends convinced us that a wedding coordinator is a must and recommended Marie, so we gave her a call. During the first five minutes of that phone conversation, we knew immediately that we wanted to hire Marie. When talking to her, it felt like a normal conversation that we would have with any of my close friends and not a business transaction. Just on this one phone call, which ended up being about an hour long, Marie shared many of her wedding experiences, both good and bad, and even told us a lot about her personal life. Honestly, we almost forgot that she was a vendor since it felt like we were already friends! She even honored the wedding expo discount even though we didn’t hire her on the same day in person. Thanks, Marie!

From the time of that conversation up until our wedding date, Marie was super easy to reach through email, text, phone, and in-person meetups. Any question we had or ideas we threw at her, she immediately gave us an answer and was excited to make our visions come true. Although Marie encouraged us to reach out to her anytime (and she meant that), we didn’t want to bother her too often and only met up with her in-person twice. Both meetups were really enjoyable and we would always go off tangents and forget about the wedding planning part lol. Again, Marie treated us like family and even called us ‘besties’. I really loved this because I am not a huge fan of formalities, especially when wedding planning is already stressful - Marie really knew how to ease our minds and make us feel like family. We even got to meet her adorable doggos and husband!

On the week of our wedding, Marie stopped by our house (she found out that we only live less than 10 minutes away) to check up on us and asked if we needed anything. We told her that we couldn’t find enough ginger beer but thought it would be fine. 30 minutes later, Marie called and told us that she found some and asked if we wanted her to grab some for us and we said yes, which I’m glad we did because there wasn’t much leftovers after the wedding. After that, she asked if we needed disposable chopsticks and in my mind, I asked, "What do we need chopsticks for”? Marie then reminded me that it would be for the ramen station! We completely forgot about the chopsticks! This is how much Marie cares and is detail-oriented! Thank you so much for going above and beyond for us!

During the wedding, Marie was there for us the entire time. Words can’t describe how thankful we are for her and I could write a novel but I will try to keep it short. One of our biggest asks of her was to keep us on schedule so that we could have more time on the dance floor and she did not disappoint. She was very attentive and made sure that we were on schedule down to the second. She was not afraid to step in and politely tell our loving uncles and aunties to keep the photos with the bride & groom down to a minimum when we are running out of time. She was also very communicative with the other wedding vendors and ensured everything went smoothly. There was a moment where someone wanted to make a last minute speech and I politely whispered to Marie to have that person added to the schedule and she said “yeah, I already know” lol. Honestly, I don’t know how she does it!

Once all of the wedding formalities were completed, while still maintaining her boss status and responsibilities as a wedding coordinator, Marie interacted with both of our families and friends and every single one of them absolutely loved her, especially the crazy aunties lol. What we really loved about Marie is that she does not only take her responsibilities as a wedding coordinator seriously, but she is also very personable and wants to ensure everyone has a good time, which is super important to us. Our wedding was so much fun and stressless, thanks to Marie, and we are so appreciative of her! It has been a month since our wedding, and we still stay in touch. She even invited us to crash her niece’s wedding! When Marie started calling us ‘besties’, she really meant it! One of the first things Marie said to us at the beginning of this journey is that her goal is to get invited to our baby shower, and if we ever do decide to have one - you’re invited, Marie! Thank you for all you have done for us and we will forever be grateful.

We are so grateful to have had Marie as our month-of wedding coordinator! She was fantastic to work with and truly made our wedding feel seamless and uniquely ours. As we finalized details, Marie offered wonderful ideas to personalize the day, and her thoughtful touches made a huge difference. She went above and beyond in so many ways, even arranging for her husband to live-stream our ceremony when one of our parents was unexpectedly hospitalized, allowing them to still be part of our day. Marie also quickly addressed a situation with a guest that could have led to a fine from our venue, demonstrating her attention to detail and quick thinking. We highly recommend Marie!

We cannot be more grateful for Marie! When we started planning our wedding we thought we could do it all on our own, but a few months in we got burnt out. Then we found Marie! We were immediately comfortable with her and she helped us get excited about planning again and helped pull our ideas into a cohesive plan. She was so personable and treated us with such care like a close friend off the bat. This was exactly what we needed.

On our rehearsal and wedding day, Marie and her helper were the best. At the rehearsal, Marie got our wedding party in line and had a clear plan that everyone could easily remember and follow. She even helped with logistics getting back to our Airbnb! On the wedding day, Marie and Garland (her helper) were incredible. They helped set up and design the tables and execute everything that we had prepared without my husband or I having to think about it! They really took care of everything and allowed us to move through the day stress free.

After the wedding, everyone kept talking about how great and helpful they were. We seriously cannot recommend Marie and Agape Events enough!

We absolutely love Marie from Agape Events and More. She brought so much fun and enthusiasm to every meeting. She asked great questions about details we had not even thought of to make sure our wedding day was just like we dreamed about and she had great suggestions when asked. She was very organized at the rehearsal, wanting to know the desired sequence of events and the timeline. We left the rehearsal, feeling confident about the wedding day because of her. At the wedding, she was amazing. She took care of all the behind-the-scenes, coordinating and troubleshooting so that we could just focus on the joy and celebration of the day. The wedding from beginning to end was seamless and we are so grateful to Marie for everything she did to make that happen. She is worth her weight in gold and we highly recommend her!!! Marie made my wife’s dream wedding into a reality. She’s more than a coordinator, she becomes your best friend and confidant throughout the whole planning process.

She was there for us through family drama and even went dress shopping/fitting to help my wife into her dress. It meant the world that she could especially be there for my wife and help her with so much.

You will never find another coordinator who cares about her couples the way she does!

Day-off, she was so phenomenal that multiple guests came up to me during and after to sing her praises. She gave us and our bridal party so many tips and tricks so that our photos looked good and we felt well prepared for the wedding (we did do a rehearsal prior to the wedding day, that she helped us with). She is also a strong MC and leads/directs vendors with confidence. We also noticed that she has many industry connections and is well loved by vendors!

Overall, she is worth every single penny! Her help and services saved us THOUSANDS! Not to mention, she’s a one-stop shop for so many things! Her decor inventory is expansive and owns a photobooth as well. She also helped me pick out and customize my groomsmen gifts and my wife’s bridesmaids gifts.

She protects the peace of her couples so well during the wedding. We had no stress because we had strong faith that she could handle anything and everything that came our way.

We had a wonderful experience with Marie as our day-of-coordinator and she truly went above and beyond! She is a professional and expert all while having fun with it. Her experience being the on-site coordinator for a local Catholic church saved the day (and multiple instances leading up to the wedding) for us when our church's administrative turnover presented countless issues. She knew exactly which questions to ask us and which ones we should be asking to others, helped look over vendor contracts, and had good communication with vendors leading up to the event. She knew how to effectively wrangle a large wedding party in a fun way so that everyone knew exactly what to do and was able to relax and enjoy! Throughout the reception, she struck the perfect balance of keeping on schedule while allowing flexibility for socializing. We cannot recommend Marie enough and are so grateful to have had her in our corner!

Marie was fantastic! Our officiant had a family emergency and dropped out two days before our wedding. Within an hour Marie had three people lined up ready to marry us.

She communicates well, and you can tell she really enjoys her job. We would recommend her to all that are getting married!
